Chapter 21: Who?

"Did you have something to do with Mr. Kugimiya's Accident? " Mr Bailey confronted the woman in front of him. He knew just how twisted her mind is, but he did not expect her to go that far as to try and commit murder.

"You had the nerve to use my men and did not even inform me!" He threw the glass of whiskey her way, making the woman flinch in surprise.

"I already told you I won't do as you say and you dared to use my name to sell my own property!"

"Oh c'mon brother! If your men weren't so damn stupid then he wouldn't be hurt in the first place. " She countered, a little annoyed by the fact that her plans went to waste. Nothing went right.

A sudden grip on her throat shocked her, she struggled free from the hands of her brother. His eyes were dark, anger shown through his eyes. "I told you just how dangerous that man is, didn't I? His men are already investigating the accident. If you ever drag my name to the mud. I'll kill you myself. " His voice held warning, something Sara wasn't used to.

Their parents died and the only family she had was her brother. He was usually so calm and coolheaded whenever she does something out of line. Now, there was fear in his eyes hiding from all the rage he is exhibiting.

"Why are you so afraid of him? It's not like he can touch us. " She struggled to breathe as Victor let go of her harshly.

He chuckled menacingly, thinking of the consequences. "Do you know the Foley's? The family who just disappeared from high society all of a sudden? Their daughter was sold to the black market for attempting to drug a powerful man. "

"What does that have to do with anything?" Her cluelessness was irritating him to no end. He shouldn't have indulge her from the start, it was his fault for spoiling her. He thought she wouldn't have the guts to commit murder but he guessed wrong.

"What I'm saying is that woman attempted to drug Mr Kugimiya at one of their business functions. They didn't know that the man was cautious wherever he goes, they found out that the drink was drugged when one of his subordinates suddenly fell unconscious on the floor. It was a strong aphrodisiac of some sort. It was a terrible plan in the first place because the timing and setting wasn't right. " He sighed in frustration.

"The next day the woman was gone and no one dared to ask about it. Their company was bankrupt and they were stripped off of everything they owned just like that. The Foley's were one of the families much wealthier than us Sara! They are just stupid enough to let their daughter do something that crazy. " His anxiousness apparent by how he walked back and forth in front of her.

"If he investigated this and it leads to us, then I do not know what he'll do to both of us." He said looking at her with seriousness. It didn't frighten her one bit. Her brother had a way at exaggerating things.

Now, she was beginning to think about what to do next. She was still very determined of course. But first she had to do something about this brother of hers.

"You think I would trade every little thing I worked for because of a stupid, useless sister? You might as well just run for your life now. " He chuckled again but this time with a tone of mockery.

"Let me handle this on my own. I'm still heading to Zermatt tomorrow as your representative. I'll try to act like it had nothing to do with me. "

Mr. Bailey took a deep breath, trying not to strangle this woman for being too daft.

Hospital (9:00 pm) Zermatt, Switzerland.

"Miss Yaya, you need to get treated. The boss will kill me once he finds out that you are left untreated. " Secretary Ito convinced the stubborn woman, he immediately instructed the nurse to check on Yaya's injuries when he saw her nod at his request.

They both came from Boss's Room earlier. They made their way to get her treated while waiting for the Doctors treating his Master. Miss Yaya insisted that she'll stay until she knows he's alright. He couldn't really say no to her because her glares were scarier than the boss's. But when he saw her bloodied knees, it's like he saw his life flashed through his eyes.

After a while, the nurse left when she finished treating her wounds. Yaya only had bruises and some light grazes on her knee. Her shoulders were swollen but the pain was tolerable.

"Did you investigate the accident?" Yaya asked dimly, there's no strength left in her. The fear she felt earlier was still there, only reduced to a small amount when she saw Barry being treated by the doctors.

"Yes." He answered simply. Not planning to hide any details if Yaya ever asked for it.

Most of the facts came from her as she narrated what happened in detail to him earlier.

When Barry passed out earlier before they were rescued, Yaya thought about the whole accident. Those men wanted to separate them, and the fact that they just ran away when they heard the rumbling indicated that it was planned.

No one knew aside from the 3 people she trusted the most where she was, they only knew Switzerland but they don't exactly know her location. Barry told her that no one knew where he was, they all thought he was still in Hong Kong.

Yaya didn't think it was her uncles doing either, Uncle Leo would've already informed her if they are behaving suspiciously. She thought about Barry's enemies, the reason being a part of a yakuza clan before, but then thought otherwise. Barry wouldn't just take her somewhere when he knows he's in danger. Even with all their security detail, He wouldn't risk it.

"Do you know who?" She asked one more time.

"Yes Miss, I thought that man Bailey was cowardly. I didn't think he would really do something that'll make him lose everything in the process. " Akira said. Mr Bailey from his knowledge was someone who's too cowardly. He didn't know why the man would target his boss.
