Chapter 5: Meeting You Part 2

"My apologies Ms. Chen but Mr. Kugimiya might be late. He sent me here to apologize in his behalf. He suddenly had an emergency meeting at the company. "

"Oh that's okay, Have a seat first, you can order something you like." She perfectly understood that someone like him would be busy. It's a good thing that her schedule was clear for the whole day.

"That's okay miss, I'm fine." Secretary Ito glanced at the very beautiful yet stoic woman in front of him. She looked different from the woman in the picture, she exudes pure sophistication and her presence screamed 'untouchable' something other women lacked like those who made failed attempts to capture his boss' attention.

He was wondering why his Boss asked him to go inside and tell her he had a sudden meeting when he remembered clearing everything on his schedule for the whole day.

He also pondered about the president's weird actions these past few days. Earlier, he watched as an unusual restless expression appeared on his face for the very first time. He also changed his suit 10 times before they had to leave and now he was currently in the parking lot refusing to go in, even made him tell Miss Chen some lame excuse just to delay his time.

Did the president like this woman? Secretary Ito thought to himself. Years of searching for her, it might be true. He only knows what he investigated about her, but the question is, who is she in President Kugimiya's Life?

Will they finally have a female boss? The thought excited him.

President Kugimiya was someone who was feared by the people because of his business capabilities, but he knew just how generous he is. Take him for example, Boss saved his life and gave him this Job. He also had multiple charity groups that helps orphans all over Asia. It was something not a lot of people know. Seeing his boss acting that way confused him of course, but a chance to see him happy excited him.

A few minutes passed and the silence around the room was making him nervous. Boss just sent him a text message, telling him to cancel the meeting and reschedule it to another day. He really did not know what to do, this was the first time the president acted this way.

"Are you okay?" He heard Ms. Chen's soft voice interrupting his panicked thoughts. She must've noticed his change in expression.

"Ahm yeah... may I be Excused for a minute?" He asked, getting up and exited without waiting for her answer. He rushed out of the building and went to the end of the parking lot where he saw his boss leaning against his sports Car.

Nadech could not believe he was about to see her, he had been standing at the same spot for almost 30 minutes now. He saw her figure when she entered the building.

He badly wanted to go in and see her but his body won't listen.

He was really Nervous, the very thought of meeting her again excited him at the same time scared him.

What would he say? What if he stuttered? What if he looked like a total idiot in front of her? His heart was beating really fast.

He really, really wanted to see her but seeing that he couldn't even step one foot inside the building, he decided to just cancel the meeting and reschedule.

"Sir, I have something to say, this may be out of the line. But as someone who cares for your well-being, May I give you a piece of Advice? " Secretary Ito said in a very careful voice, afraid to anger the already agitated Devil in front of him

His Secretary's words surprised him, the man was always so cautious when speaking to him. He was loyal and does everything he was instructed to do. He sometimes enjoyed this man's reactions to his over the top decisions.

"Okay." He said in a very light tone, relieving the anxiety inside Secretary Ito.

"Sir, as I observed, the woman inside is very important to you. If you are reluctant to meet her when she is clearly expecting your presence. Wouldn't that disappoint her? " His secretary's words made him think.

"Do you have any experiences with women?" He questioned his secretary.

"Ahm..not exactly .. but boss, I mean President, I think it would really disappoint Miss Chen If you don't go. You guys have similar aura you know? " His eyes widened by his last words, nearly wanting to hit his mouth but stopped himself.

"Aura, What do you mean?" Nadech asked with genuine curiosity. The thought of having something in common with his bunny, thrilled him.

"You both looked Lonely." He replied almost reluctantly.

After that man left, she patiently waited at the room. She noticed how frantic he was, she wondered if something happened as he looked like he was really anxious about something.

She sipped on her glass of wine and looked at the time. She has been waiting for almost 35 minutes. She had no choice but to wait, this proposal is very important to her.

She knew it was one of her Uncles, who was making a move against her behind her back, so before they could find something they could use against her, she needed to make a move first.

Her thoughts were disturbed once again by the opening of the door. But instead of seeing the mister earlier, what she saw froze her into place.

Their eyes met, and like any cliché 'moments in books. Her eyes couldn't leave his. His dark orbs sucking her in, reading her soul like an open book. She suddenly felt bare.

Her eyes traveled to his sharp facial features, his thick eye brows that frame his eyes, his long lashes, his perfectly pointed nose, down to his slightly reddish lips that gave her a different feeling.

Woah, she thought as she realized she was inappropriately ogling a stranger and she couldn't seem to snap out of it. She hoped he did not notice.

She never acted like this, never been attracted to any handsome men, as someone who belonged to the fashion industry, it was a normal thing to see a lot of attractive people but why the hell is she gawking at someone right now.

She was fairly confused at why she would react like this.

"Ms. Dahlia Chen? " He asked, his deep voice broke her from her inner battle with herself, she composed herself before nodding.

"Ah, y-you must be Mr. Kugimiya. " Her stutter made her cringe inside. Why is she acting so idiotic when she's usually composed around strangers.

"Ah yeah ... Pleasure to meet you." He said offering his hand for her to shake.

When their Hands touched he felt breathless, Nadech couldn't believe that she was in front of him. He did not know how many deep breaths he took before having the courage to open the door. 

His cold ruthless front was gone, now a perfect gentleman can be seen. No matter how many times he wanted to remain intimidating, he just found himself acting like a submissive puppy in her presence.

Secretary Ito who was behind his Boss gawked at their interaction. He never in his life witnessed a Devil act cute in front of a beautiful woman before. If someone told him beforehand that this would happen, He'd probably send them to the mental facility for sounding so ridiculous.
