As I walk through the crowded halls of school, my mind keeps drifting back and forth between Calum and Ashton. My lack of attention causes me to run into so many people, they stare at me in disgust and right now...

I do not give a single fuck.

But the thing I was dreading, was seeing Calum again after Ash and I had our lip locking session on the roof last night. I don't know if I should tell him or not because, well... I don't know.

I swing open my locker and grab all my needed books for third period. I hold them in my hands and I softly close my locker. I lean back on it with my eyes closed. I open my eyes and look around at everyone, wishing that I could be as carefree as them.

I pull down my jumper sleeves and I shift my books in my arm.

"Are you alright?" A male voice sounds from above me. I look up and I see Jack with a... Look of concern?

"Why do you care?" I spit at him. Just doing that makes all my energy drain and I can't be bothered to put up a fight.

"You know what... I care because I still love you okay?! You may not love me anymore, but I sure as hell do," he says to me. His facial features sadden and I can't help but imagine what it would be like to still have him as close as we were.

"Jack, just. Come over tonight, we can talk then. I really don't feel well right now and I have a lot on my mind." I tell him. He nods and smiles at me.

"Okay, I guess I'll see you later," he says, almost as if I will reject him.

If I was in my normal state... I would.

"Yeah," I say. The bell rings and the students scatter, emptying the halls.

Jack waves to me and heads off in the opposite direction. I look down at the dirty floor of my school and I walk to Chemisty.

I walk in the room and I plonk down next to my chemistry partner.

"You alright?" Luke asks me. I get out my books and sigh heavily.

"No." I say. The teacher walks in the room and stops Luke from asking any further questions.

"We'll talk after okay?" He says to me.

"That may not be such a good idea," I whisper to him. The teacher starts talking and Luke writes something in his book before sliding his book to me.

Why?

Because someone is coming over

I write hesitantly to him. He stares at me with an 'are you fucking crazy' look on his face.
If only he knew the whole story.

Are you kidding? That boy is bad news!!

I know, but he needs to talk to me and I don't give a shit anymore. He can't hit me.

He scrunched up the note and throws it in the small bin under our desk. I tune in to what the teacher is saying... But my mind automatically drifts to Calum and Ashton.
