I waited for my brother and his mate to finish whatever they needed so we could be on our way. We would be signing treaties today with some of the neighbouring packs and I was ready to be done with it all so I could go finish my forgotten assignments over at Raphael's place.

Claude and Ace came out with Claude being the overbearing future father that he was minding Ace's every step. They didn't know this but I prayed the guy didn't have a set of five because too many people exist already.

"I know how to walk, Claude!" Ace yelled with a scowl at his mate.

"Yeah, but you have to be careful! There was a pebble, you could have tripped!"

"Gosh, you need to get your head checked, fine! Fine, I'll stay here." Ace pouted and Claude beamed down at him. The big guy kissed his mate who smirked. "But I'll go shopping." Claude's face dropped and he narrowed his gaze.

"You can't buy baby clothes without me." Ace simply raised his head triumphant and Claude whined before calling over the Warriors to accompany their pregnant Alpha to the mall.

"You know what? Fine, I can always over buy."

Ace gapped and Claude stuck his tongue out and handed him the card. I don't know who won here. I simply offered my alpha a scowl and tapped my watch and he just waved me away before we got into the car. Kathryn and Trent were on a different route, dealing with the three packs where the treaties had needed to be revised and their alpha's couldn't attend so it had been agreed that the Beta's of each side could hold the meeting. If only I hadn't lost rock, paper, scissors to Kathryn, I'd have gotten to leave earlier like them.

The first pack we went to the meeting went smoothly. The Alpha who was a really big fan of our father Donovan. He had been eager to catch up but unfortunately I was not having that. Claude tried his best to finish everything on a good and satisfactory note. The Alpha had invited us over for a fun time, even going as far as wanting to host an interpack party which could help members who were single hopefully find mates in between us. This we could not refuse.

The next pack was one more familiar to me. Regina was stoic beside her Alphas, completely blank as though she didn't know me. I raised a brow at that as we greeted one another. Alpha Matthew and Angelo were so ready to see us leave it was funny considering their parents history with our parents.

"So are we going to pretend we don't know one another?" I asked as the alpha's lead the way. She rolled her eyes.

"This is business hour, I'm being professional."

"Right, right."

Alpha Matthew was a lot calmer and patient than Angelo who sat there literally glaring at us.

"To be honest do we need a treat between packs? There are no threats yet."

"Exactly, yet."

"Still, I don't like you."

"I believe that's exactly what uncle Theodore said to your dad." I snickered as the man rolled his eyes and huffed.

"Considering the status of your Alpha," Regina said in monotone. "It would be wise to agree to these terms, having a dragon hybrid as an allie can prove an advantage if a fight were to present itself, plus your pack is closer than the others so the response time is also a plus. Not to mention the number of casters you have." She looked at her alpha's who groaned at her.

"See, your Beta sees the point." Claude sighed and shook his head at my words since I was smiling and they really wanted to butt heads for unnecessary reasons.

They spent time reading everything before children rushed in running right for Angelo and Matthew.

"Daddy, Papa, are you done because Kacey is on."
