(4 months later.) Today is Trudy and Mouch's wedding. And for some reason Trudy made me a bridesmaid so I was off of work making sure Trudy didn't lose her mind. "Why?" "Why what babe?" I didn't realize Jay was eating breakfast. "Why did Trudy pick me as a bridesmaid?" "She trusts you. She also doesn't have many friends. That's why you, Kim, and Hailey are her only bridesmaids." "Oh. Wait who's Hailey?" "Oh she's my new partner she took over for Erin." "Oh ok. I can't wait to meet her." "I can't wait for you to meet her, now come on we better get going." "Ok." He grabbed his gun out of the safe and we went to the station. — We walked in and he went upstairs. I saw Trudy chewing out a patrol officer. "This is gonna be harder than I thought." I mumbled. I walked over to her and grabbed her arm. "Your getting married today. That means no scaring patrol officers." "But." I cut her off "No buts! Stay here I'm going to get Kim and Hailey." "Fine." I walked up stairs and saw a brunette sitting on Jays desk twirling her hair. I also saw him paying no attention to her. I walked over to Jay. "Oh this is gonna be good." I heard Adam say with a chuckle. "Hey babe." The woman's head whipped at me. "Babe?" "Yeah babe. He has a girlfriend." As soon as I said that she jumped up off his desk. I turned to her. "Sorry we didn't meet. Who are you?" "I'm Abby McSweeney. Jay's Wife. Who are you?" "Sophia Severide." I stared at Jay and gave him a dirty look. I saw a girl with blonde hair walking out. "Hi I'm Hailey. You must be Sophia." She said "Yeah I am and we better get going. Come on Kim." "Coming." I walked back downstairs. "Trudy let's go we have to get the dresses fitted." "Ok I'm coming relax." We got in Kim's car and and drove to the bridal shop. "Trudy please don't be mean to anyone." "Ok." We walked in and we were greeted by one of the workers. "So who's my bride?" She asked. We all pointed to Trudy. "Ok and I'm assuming your all bridesmaids." I nodded my head. "We are just here to get the dresses and make sure they fit. Today is the wedding." "Oh ok. What's your name?" "Trudy Platt." "Ok follow me to a fitting room and we will get your dresses." "Ok." We followed her and and minute later we all got our dresses. Before I went to get changed Hailey pulled me aside. "Just so you know that's his ex-wife." "I know. They got married one night in Vegas when we were in Afghanistan. What I don't know is why she's back." "I overheard them talking and I guess it turns out their divorce was never finalized." I nodded and I walked into the fitting room to get changed.

This was the dress I was wearing along with Kim and Hailey. I loved it, and it fit great. I got changed and told Trudy it fit. Thankfully everybody else's dress fit perfectly. Now we have to get to Molly's where the wedding is being held and where the hairstylists and makeup artists are. — We got to Molly's and put robes on. Then we got our hair and makeup done.

After getting my hair and makeup done I went with Kim to help the caterers bring in the food and the cake while Hailey helped the planners and Hermann set up Molly's. I went to check on Trudy and saw that she looked like she was about to cry. "Hey what's wrong?" "I'm kings nervous. What if Randy doesn't want to get married? What if he doesn't love me?" "Trudy calm down. He does love you otherwise we wouldn't be here right now and he wouldn't be getting ready right now." I gave her a hug and went to help finish setting up the tables. Not long after it was time to put our dresses on. After getting mine on I helped Trudy put her dress on. "Trudy I have something for you." "If it's a gift it needs to wait till after the ceremony." "Well your getting it now." "Ugh fine." She rolled her eyes at me and I laughed. I handed her a small bag. She opened it to reveal a beautiful pair of earrings with a blue stone. "Oh my god Sophia these are beautiful, thank you." I gave her a hug. "Of course, plus now you have your something blue and your something new." She smiled at me. I got a text from Kelly. Kelly: On our way with Mouch now. Is everything ready? Sophia: Yeah all good here. Kelly: Ok see you soon. Sophia: Ok bye. I put my phone away and looked out the door and saw all the guests. I turned to Trudy. "Everyone is here and Randy is on his way. Are you ready." She nodded. 10 minutes later there was a knock on the door. I went to check who it was and it was Hermann. I turned back to Trudy. "Time to get the show on the road." Kim, Hailey, and I grabbed our bouquets and as soon as we heard music playing we started walking down the aisle. I saw Jay while I was walking and saw him mouth "you look so beautiful." Once we got to the end of the aisle we saw Trudy coming out. I saw Mouch smile at her as she walked. She got to the end of the aisle and they both turned to the priest. They said there vows and got married. Afterwards they cut the cake. And now it was time for Trudy to toss the bouquet. "Sophia get your ass over here!" I heard Trudy yell. I downed the rest of my champagne and handed Jay my empty glass. He smirked at me as I walked over to the other girls waiting to catch the bouquet. "3, 2, 1." She through the bouquet and of course it landed in my hands. I held the bouquet up laughing. — I was sitting at a table with Hermann, Stella, Cruz, Jay, Brett, and Kelly. "We are gonna find out the real story at some point." "Yeah you might as well be the one to spill the beans." Stella looked at Kelly. "Fine I'll let you do the honors." I laughed to myself thinking back at when kelly told me the story of how him and Stella first met. "I love this story." I added before Stella could tell it. "Ok alright I would be happy to be the one to tell the tale. Ok so, late one night tactical training course at the academy, the moon was bright as hell that night I remember. I unlock my door, then I hear this sound coming from my roof." She tapped her fist on the table twice "So I look up suddenly there's Severide repelling down from my skylight singing Sinatra's this love of mine with a rose in his mouth. He had been mooning over me for weeks." Everyone at the table was laughing at that point. "He was so blinded by love he didn't know what he was doing. Swat team let him go after a few hours no harm done." "You did it put a rose in your mouth." Stella laughed "Ok seriously there was a key under the mat, I talked Grant out of calling the cops. Kelly went home and uh next day he comes to me and goes thanks I owe you a big favor." "Still do I guess." She smiled at him. "Still do." — After about 2 hours me and Jay decided to head home. I said my goodbyes and my congratulations to Mouch and Trudy and we went to his truck. I took my heels off in the passenger seat of his truck and reached for my slides that I left in his car by accident the other day. I slipped those on and me and Jay started talking. "You know you caught that bouquet right." "I know." I said with a smile on my face. "Hey whats your ex-wife doing here?" "She's getting married, we needed to finalize our divorce." "Oh alright, thank you for telling me." — As soon as we got in the door our lips were on each other. I bit his bottom lip. "Are you sure you want to do this? You have work in the morning." "So do you." I laughed as he picked me up and carried me to our bedroom.
