"I'm sorry, detectives," the dean said, "but what is this regarding, if I may ask?"

Taehyung showed a picture of Min Yoongi to the dean. "We believe he's the person behind the killings of college students that has been happening lately," he said, "so we need to catch him fast."

The dean looked shocked when she heard the news and immediately took a seat. "Oh, my."

According to the dean, Min Yoongi hadn't been coming to the campus to teach ever since the killings happened. Luckily, every professor in the campus registered their home address to the database in the administration and the dean gave his address to them.

"If you see any sign of Min Yoongi, please contact us immediately," Taehyung said and she nodded.

"Thank you, Mrs. Ahn," Jihyun said. "We'll be in touch soon."

They then got into the car and headed to wherever the GPS led them to. It was a storage building, you know, the kind of building that provided a room of storage for anyone who paid for it.

"I wonder why he put this as his address," she said, going out of the car with arms straightened forward while holding a gun. "Wouldn't he worry, you know, being caught?"

"The man's crazy," he replied. "I'm not surprised if he actually lives here."

They then slowly and quietly went in with caution. They checked each corner if there was any sign of him, but nada.

"Does the address say which storage room is his?"

"Yeah," he said. "It's B5-137."

Jihyun rolled her eyes. "I mean, it does make our job easier," she said, "but why the hell would he write down that?!"

After a while, they finally found the storage room and opened it with force. They didn't find the killer, but they found a bunch of his stuff, including a white board which had pictures of his dead victims hung on it.

Taehyung looked at Jihyun who approached the board and had her eyes set on one particular picture; her ex-boyfriend, Park Jimin.

"So, it's true," she said. "He's really the one who murdered Jimin."

He knew she was having some kind of an emotional distress after seeing a picture of her ex hanging on a killer's storage room, so he patted her shoulder before grabbing it tight as a sign for her to stay strong.

"If this is a room for him to do whatever in his killer agenda, why aren't there teeth of the victims?" he asked. "He must've another address."

They went through every corner of the room and found things that weren't really helpful to their investigation since it had already been discovered, so they finally called it a night and let the night team, Chaeyeon and Seokjin, continued with the case.

Taehyung dropped off Jihyun at her apartment and was about to say goodbye when she asked, "Aren't you gonna do the bet?"

He let out a slight chuckle. He already planned on taking her to a fancy restaurant down the street, but remembering an hour ago where she got emotional looking at Jimin's picture, he backed out.

"We can do that another day."

"Oh, come on, let's just get this over with," she said while chuckling, causing Taehyung to feel relieved to see she's in a good mood. "A date doesn't have to be fancy, right? We can order some pizza and drink some wine upstairs."

"Yeah, but-"

"After all," she said, cutting him off, "I don't really wanna be alone right now. I can't afford to have a breakdown in the midst of a case like this."

Taehyung eventually gave in, then both of them headed to Jihyun's unit and like she said, ordered some pizza and drink some wine.

"It feels so wrong to have a normal night like this when we haven't even caught the culprit yet," she said, making her best friend next to her giggle.

"Captain Kim said to take a rest for a night since we have been working our asses off for a case that is almost impossible to solve."

She sighed. "We have to solve this case, Tae, whatever it takes," she said. "These victims deserve justice."

They both then rested their heads on the sofa pillow. Perhaps it was the wine that caused it, but without them realizing it, they locked their eyes with each other's.

Jihyun suddenly chuckled. "I don't think I've ever seen you this up-close without any pressure of someone might kill us," she said, causing Taehyung to chuckle too. "You know, you have very nice eyebrows."

"I know. It's part of my charm," he said, "and you have a very cute nose."

She rolled her eyes playfully. "Well played, Kim Taehyung," she said. "I think I love that little mole on your nose. It's adorable."

None of them realized that their faces were no further than a knuckle away. They were so close that they could feel each other's breath.

"Okay, well, I think I love your chubby cheeks," he replied. "It's cute."

She giggled. "Okay, well, I think I love your sparkly, big eyes," she said. "It's attractive."

The wine made them desire to move closer to each other as their lips were this close to actually be touching, until Taehyung blurted out, "Okay, well, I think I love you."
