It took them three days to get everything they needed and I tried not to be anxious as they came once again with the news.

I lead them to my office with Ace and again they were smiled.

"I hate to say I was right."

"Your going to anyway."

"But I was right." We looked between the council members. "The Caster's are both a threat, that much we have deduced. If anything we have formally informed the surrounding concerned parties of their need to relax."

"They probably fear the advantage casters bring."

"However we cannot ignore their concern as even I can see why. You have six other siblings, correct? And one adopted?"

"Yes."

"Three of which show potential, I believe. I trust you'll keep them under wraps. The last thing we'd want is magic getting out of hand as new as it is to us all."

"My family is no threat."

"We know. Your sister is lovely, if I may add, gave me this." Held up a ball of freshly made ice within a single flower was captured. "Made it infront of me, very beautiful."

"Yes, anyway, Al. Alpha, I'd like to encourage caution with your pack. Many seem to oppose you on judgement made for your parents which is out of anyone's control."

"True. Grief should not be premise to undermine someone. We respect and understand your father in his state. He did not wish to relinquish himself to the wolf-"

"It was that or death and we know." They shared this sad look of understanding.

"All we can do for you is tell you to keep an eye on these people." They gave me a list of 10 names and I raised a brow.

"You expected more?"

"Well yes."

"From the interviews these were whom we feel show the most resistance to your claim. As far as we know you have been involved in pack dealings even before you came of age. You are more than capable and I hope that with time, those names turn from doubtful to loyal."

"Thank you, alpha's." The grinned and stood. We bid one another goodbye and as they drove away I shifted ready to run. Ace followed right behind me.

I circled the pack house a few times before heading for the one place I really felt I could think. I shifted at the sight of the stone.

Staring at it hard I pouted and sat down, bowing my head with a sigh. My headache was present again, persistent even and frustrating considering the events of the day.

"Claude."

"How long do you think it'll be?"

"Nobody can really say."

"I want them to believe in me. I want their respect."

"As you should." He knelt beside me, his fingers still on my nape. "You are their Alpha and respect and loyalty is what you deserve."

"Do I though? I mean, what have I really done to prove to them that they can trust me? That I'm not my father?"

He was silent, he sighed kissing my forehead

"You've done enough." I looked over at him then, I pulled him to me, forcing him to sit in my naked lap and buried my face in his neck. "I don't think there is much more you could do to bring them to your side "

"If I can't...I don't know what will become of me."

He peeked me and held my cheek. "You'll become even more of a great Alpha than you are now, with or without their respect and trust."
