BUMBLEBEES POV

I kept driving. I didn't know where I was. The only thing I could think about was finding base and finding Ash. We drove along a long, no traffic street. Then I see it. In the sky. Smoke, like a fire.

"Do you think it's base" Raf asks.

"There's only one way to find out" I say as I head toward the smoke. As we get closer and closer I realize it is the base. Then the base comes into view. I go behind a building. I transform with Raf on my shoulder. I just stare. The base. It was in pieces and in flames.

"Do you think they were inside" Raf asks.

"I don't know" I say. I just keep looking. Looking for signs of Ashley or Ratchet. Nothing.

"She was inside" I voice says behind me. I turn around to see Ratchet.

"What! No" I say. No she's couldn't be.

"She was. We only had enough energy for one groundbride and only one bot. I told her to go in but before I could say anything, she pushed me in. I was about to go back when the base exploded" he says.

"No!! Bee she promised. She said she'd be ok" Raf says. He starts to cry. I take my fist and slam it into the building.

"Damn it Ashley" I say. I couldn't even think. There was no way she could have lived.

"Come on Bee. We must find the others. We need to regroup" Ratchet says. But I can't. Not without Ashley.

"I need to go to base. I need to find her" I say

"Bee no. There are cons all over. There is no way you can even make it near the base without being seen. I know you want to go back but you can't Bee. She's gone and there's nothing we can do" Ratchet says. He's right. I transform and Raf hops in. We drive in silence. I can't talk. I imagined Ashley driving next to us safe, but she wasn't.

"Bee. I'm sorry" Raf says.

"It's not your fault Raf" I say.

"I miss her already Bee. Why did she have to die"

"I don't know Raf. I really don't know"

--------------week later---------
We all gathered into a small cave.

"So. She's gone" Jack says

"Yup, she's gone. She wanted to save the base" Raf says. I still remember seeing the burning base. She was in there and there was nothing I could do.

"You ok Bee" Raf asks me. I wasn't. There isn't a way to bring her back. She's gone forever.

"To he honest Raf, I'm not" I say.

"Can I ask you a question Bee" Raf asks me later. We were standing outside the cave. I was leaning against it.

"Sure Raf"

"I hope this doesn't bother you but why did Ashley keep those things to herself and not tell you" I thought.

"She didn't want to hurt my feelings and she didn't want to tell the Autobots, especially Optimus"

"But keeping it from you. And now look where it lead. She's dead. If she told you, she could be alive"

"Maybe. Maybe not. I don't know. All I can say is Ashley didn't say certain things to protect me. I just wish she would have told me about Sideswipe and Ironhide"

"Who are they"

"Sideswipe and Ironhide were Ashleys best friends. They went a lot of missions together during the war. They didn't know each other until team Prime. They made Ashley happy. As I told you, the beginning of her life wasn't the greatest"

"Until she met you" Raf says. I look at him. He smiles.

"Ya. Sideswipe and Ironhide would tell me stuff about Ashley all the time. After they came back from a mission, they would have something to say about Ash. They knew I cared about her the most. After they died, Ashley told us cons killed them. Ashley was depressed for a few days. But she got over it once we started to fight more"

"I'm sorry Bee. I am. I know you didn't want her to die. You loved her a lot"

"Thanks Raf. I hope you understand that she cared about you too. She would have done anything for you"

"I know Bee. She did care about us a lot"

"She did. I just wish she didn't have to die every time she tried to protect us"

"Why did she stay at base"

"She wanted Ratchet to live. Also, she wanted to save the base. It had all of out technology in it"

"I wish she would just show up. I don't want her dead"

"Me too Raf. Me too"
