Stars, who is that?
........
Am I....
..........
Am I dead?
"Hey, hey." (Y/n) squinted at the blond boy hovering over her. His sky blue eyes reminded her so much of Anakin that for a second, she thought it was him. She suddenly jolted upwards, nearly slamming heads with him in a panicked frenzy.
Memories came flooding back in a flurry of colour: Fives, the Coruscant Guard, the Chancellor, Wolffe, Anakin, Rex. Where were they? Where was she?
"I told you this was the wrong detention block kid!"
Her gaze snapped over to the brown haired boy in--what was that? The shiny plastoid, sleek and white, looked like a cheap knockoff of clone trooper armour. (Y/n) could have been fooled if it weren't for the helmet and flimsy add-ons to the belt at the waist. Talk about cheap production.
She blinked, visible confusion crossing her face. "Apologies, but who are you? And where am I?" The blond boy shared a look with the brown haired boy. "You think she has amnesia?" the blond questioned. The brown haired boy snorted. "Really Luke? Amnesia?" The wookie behind the brown haired boy quietly howled. "Chewie's right, we need to get going. They're bound to have figured out we're not actual stormtroopers."
Stormtroopers?
"But we can't just leave her here." 'Luke' said. "They'll kill her!" (Y/n) eyed the trio from where she sat on the durasteel ground. Had Palpatine captured her? No, that couldn't be. Her cell didn't resemble anything in the Republic, or any Separatist holds she's seen. It looked different, more advanced almost. So perhaps she had been captured by pirates? Or Bounty Hunters? But what about the 'stormtrooper' armour? None of that added up.
The brown haired boy rolled his eyes. "Rather her than me. Come on, you said we'd get the princess and leave, so let's go." Luke sent (Y/n) a look of remorse that made her heart clench. He whipped around to face the brown haired boy again, this time with a fire brighter than any star in his eyes. "I'm not leaving her." he stated. 'Chewie' howled in reply. "Oh, I don't know why. She just feels...different."
"Great, the kid's got a crush." the brown haired boy grumbled. He made his way to the door and raised his blaster. Chewie followed closely behind, but Luke stayed rooted to his spot. (Y/n) didn't need to be a Jedi to feel his swirling emotions. The boy had already made up his mind, and he wasn't about to go back on it. The brown haired boy let out a long, tired sigh. "Fine. Get the girl and let's go."
Luke smiled to himself and held out a kind hand. He helped (Y/n) to her feet, gently guiding her out of the cell and down the hall. "Hey!" a trooper shouted. The brown haired guy and Luke whipped around with eyes the size of plates. The stormtrooper eyed them up an down, and although (Y/n) couldn't see his face, she felt the mountain of questions rise in him. "Where are you taking her?"
(Y/n) released a long sigh and stared down the stormtrooper. "Sir, I regret to inform you that I am being moved. Apparently, your...leader, or whatever, wants to torture some information out of me." The trooper awkwardly turned to his mate by the lifts. "Uh, okay then."
"That was a lot of information." the trooper by the lifts said. "Agreed. Go on your way then before that hairy thing gets out of control."
They quietly walked out of the detention hall and into a lift, where an awkward silence filled the space. Luke ripped off his helmet, the brown haired guy following suit. "Wow! That was some great thinking there." he brightly said. "Don't you think, Han?" 'Han' rolled his eyes. "Sure, kid." Chewie growled in favour of Luke, to which (Y/n) nodded in thanks. A beat of silence passed before she gathered the courage to speak. "What purpose do you have in...wherever we are?"
"We're looking for a princess, but all these dang floors look the same." Han said.
"Hey, you were the one who clicked the wrong button." countered Luke. Han rolled his eyes. "But I wasn't the one that thought we were on the right floor." Luke stuffed his head back into the helmet and turned his gaze to the numbers above the door. "This space station is humongous. How many floors could you possibly need?"
Space station? (Y/n) pursed her lips tightly. Okay, okay. What was she supposed to do in situations like this? Contact a trusted friend or send a direct transmission to the Council. But she couldn't do that. She was a wanted Jedi. Being held hostage in some space station was enough proof. And even if she managed to contact someone, there was a chance that whoever captured her (she guessed The Chancellor) would scramble her signals or finish her off for good.
A light ding resounded in the lift and the doors swished open. Han pulled on his helmet with a grumble, and with Luke, led both Chewie and (Y/n) inside. The detention block resembled that of the previous: red and black walls made of criss-crossed durasteel, a large control panel smack in the middle of the room, and behind, a never ending corridor of cells.
The person manning the controls gave the wookie a long, hard look as if to say, 'I don't get paid enough for this'. "W-where are you taking that thing and the girl?" Han and Luke sent each other glances before the former spoke up. "Prisoner transfer to cell block one, one, three eight." The guy manning the controls knitted his brows with a shake of his head. "I wasn't notified. I'll have to clear it." He motioned for two guards to take Chewie the wookie, but before they could lay a finger on the wookie, he let out a great roar and slapped them so hard they hit the wall and passed out.
Whether it was from fear or the sheer force of the strike, (Y/n) hadn't a clue.
"Watch out," cried Luke, "he's loose!" Another set of guards came barrelling down the hall. They aimed their blasters at Chewie. The first few shots missed, filling the room with smoke and sparks. (Y/n) ducked out of the crossfire just in time to catch Han shoot the security cameras. She raised her hands and Force-pushed the guards out of the way.
"What's going on--"
Han shot the guy straight in the chest. (Y/n) froze in her spot, eyes wide as the man tumbled to the ground in a mess of limbs.
"I'm so lucky. You made this nightmare like a dream."
Why couldn't she breathe?
"You'll be fine. You're strong."
A hand landed on her shoulder and she flinched so badly that the person retracted it. Luke's bright eyes met hers. "You okay?" (Y/n) harshly blinked back the mist in her eyes. "I...yeah. Sorry." Luke knitted his brows together. He was about to say something, but Han cut him off. "What are you guys doing just standing there? Go look for the princess!"
"Right, right." said Luke, motioning for (Y/n) to follow him. She weakly shook her head and made her way to the control panel. "Go on ahead. I will help Han. I have a feeling he'll need it."
