Bucky left almost immediately, I didn't want him to go but he had to for the greater good. I was just glad Steve was being rejected everywhere, I could not imagine him fighting in the war, as much as he wanted to, I think it was safer that he did not I mean have you seen him?

Howard was coming to town for some exhibition and he wanted me to preform but I declined, I wasn't in the mood. Instead I stayed home and began knitting it was actually a very good stress reliever.

I heard a knock at the door making me very confused, I knew that Steve was going to see a movie so it couldn't have been him, I open the door to be pleasantly surprised by Bucky he was stood there all handsome in his uniform, "Bucky!" I jump into his arms and he grins kissing the top of my head as I hold him like my life depended on it. "I also have Steve who is need for some medical assistance." He says moving to show Steve who looks like he'd just taken a beating, which he probably did.

"Oh Steve." I lead him inside and sit him down as I open the first aid kit and begin attending to his minor wounds. "What have I told you about getting into fights?" I ask him, "I don't recall us ever talking on that subject." He shrugs making me shake my head, "funny." He sends me an innocent looking smile making me smile myself, "look after yourself please." I say putting the stuff away, "why would I do that when I've got you?" I laugh and ruffle his hair, "one of these days you're going to give me a heart attack."

"When do you leave?" I ask Bucky not really wanting to know the answer, "tomorrow morning." He tells me regretfully I nod not wanting him to see me upset, "so what are we doing tonight then?" I ask with a bright smile, "we're going to the future." Bucky tells me excitedly, "and you need to find Steve a date." Steve scoffs at that but I nod, "alright I'm on it."

I got ready and then left to go and find Steve date for the night, we'd meet the boys there. I ended up choosing Michelle from Coney Island it turns out she actually liked Steve so that was great I just hoped he'd give her a shot.

I saw the boys and then waved them over, "you look beautiful." Bucky tells me as he wraps an arm around my waist, "and you look handsome." I tell him pressing a quick kiss to his cheek, "you guys remember Michelle right?" I ask causing both boys to nod, "nice to see you again." She grins at Steve who flushes slights making me grin.

"Welcome to the Modern Marvels Paviliion and the World of Tomorrow. A greater world. A better world." The announcer says, "Oh, my God! It's starting!" Michelle explains grabbing onto us and pulling us along through the crowd, "Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Howard Stark!" One of the girls introduces prompting Howard to run out on stage before he kisses the announcer. "I love you, Howard!" Some random woman yells making me laugh.

"Ladies and gentlemen, what if I told you that in just a few short years, your automobile won't even have to touch the ground at all." I lean slightly forward intrigued as the female helpers take the wheels of the car on stage. "With Stark robotic reversion technology, you'll be able to do just that." Howard tells the crowd as his eyes land on mine, he sends me a smile and a wink making me wave back before he turns on the switch of his machine and the car starts to hover off the ground. My eyes widen in amazement, "Holy cow." Bucky murmurs softly, I look to him and smile at wonder on his face.

Whatever was making the car hover suddenly malfunction and the car falls back on stage, "I did say a few years, didn't I?" He jokes making everyone else laugh, but I see the slight disappointment on his face. "Hey, Steve, what do you say we treat these girls..." He trails off and I see why, Steve is not stood where he was two minuets ago. He looks to me and I nod over at the recruitment centre knowing that's where he would've gone. I let Bucky go after him and turn to Michelle, "I'm sorry." I say but she shrugs with a smile, "eh so he's not into me, it's not your fault." She tells me, "see you later?" My eyebrows furrow, "where are you going?" I ask, "to find someone who is." I laugh, "and before you say anything no I don't want to third wheel you and Barnes." I nod, "fair enough, see you later."

I go to the boys to see them slightly tense, I knew Steve wouldn't listen, he was too stubborn he was gonna do what he thought was right. Bucky sighs and his face softens as he looks back to Steve, "Don't do anything stupid until I get back." He says making Steve grin, "How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you." A smile breaks out on Bucky's face, "You're a punk." He walks back towards Steve and hugs him goodbye, "Jerk. Be careful."

"Don't win the war till I get there!" Steve yells out to Bucky who turns back around salutes and then makes his way to me, "Come on doll. They're playing our song." He says wrapping an arm around me. "Hey where'd your friend go?" He asks looking around, "she left." He nods, "that's ok cause now I've got you to myself."

Bucky and I dance for what feels like forever, god I wished we could spend forever dancing. "Ok I'm tired now." I giggle as I try and catch my breath. "Me too." He smiles as we leave to go and sit on a bench, "you want some food?" I shrug, "I guess." I was a bit hungry, "ok wait here." He says before walking off to the hotdog cart.

"Hey there." A man says sitting beside me, I smile at him politely, "hi." He continues to stare at me, "you're that singer aren't you?" He asks and I nod, "yep that's me." He smiles, "you're awfully pretty." I feel a bit uncomfortable but I stay polite, "thank you." I say standing so that I could easily walk away if need be. Without standing he grabs onto my arm and tries to pull me back down.

"Could you please let go of me?" I ask fighting against his grip as he stands, "let me go." I say still keeping my composure but when he blatantly ignores me and smirks I grab his other hand and twist it so hard that he falls back onto the bench, "I asked to remove your hand twice, this is the last time I will ask you before I break your arm." I hiss down at him making his eyes widen as he quickly lets me go. "Thank you." I smile releasing his arm making him run away from me as fast as possible. 

"You ok?" Bucky asks as he comes to stand beside me, I nod as I rub my arm, "just some idiot with no respect for personal space." I say as he sets the food down and inspects my bruising arm, "which way did he go?" He asks angry but I shake my head, "it's not worth it. Besides I scared him off." I say pulling Bucky back to me, "I saw, as you should." He says kissing my head before handing me a hotdog.

"I'm gonna miss you so much." Bucky says as he stands at the door, he had to leave now, "and I'll miss you, more than anything." I tell him making him sigh, "I'll be back in no time, we'll have our wedding and then spend the rest of our lives together." I nod, "you better." He cracks a smile, "I'd never dream of leaving you." I smile back, "I love you, so much." He leans down and gives me a sweet kiss, "and I love you Rosalie more than you know." I wipe my eyes and push him towards the door, knowing if I didn't I'd never let him go.

"Stay safe." He nods, "see you soon." I kiss him one last time, "see you soon."
