Russet Feather darted around madly with Wind at her side. "Alright you have to act as frantic and possible and say that it's a sign of Starbound," she instructed as she looked down at the pup sternly.

Wind nodded vigorously and followed Russet Feather as she bounded down the side of the hill, her fur bristling as if she had just seen something terrible.

As they heard the sound of wolves approaching Russet Feather veered in the direction that the pack would travel. Russet Feather panted madly before she rolled a bit in the grass and mud to make her pelt seemed dirty. Wind copied her and threw his whole body into the mud, grumbling as it caked his fur.

"Now this way," she hissed before she leaped from the bush, right in front of Storm Wind. He plowed into her and the two went tumbling onto the ground in a mess of fur and tail.

Wind jumped out beside her and tilted his head in confusion at the sight of his father and Russet Feather wrestling around. "What was you doing out here Russet Feather," snapped Storm Wind as he pushed her away and hauled himself to his paws. "And with Wind?!"

Russet Feather shuffled her paws. "Wind snuck out of camp to see where Twilight Night and Fern had been buried. I went with him and suddenly heard a howl of dragons. We went this way to check it out."

"You had us so worried," gasped Moss Fire as she bounded to her daughter's side and licked her ear.

"Yes you could have been killed," put in Running Bear as he jogged beside his mate and pressed his forehead against his daughter's forehead.

Russet Feather pulled away before she drew her eyes up to the sky. "Come with me. I think Starbound has a sign for us."

Her and Wind led the pack forward and she couldn't help but gasp when they arrived at how the sky was lighting in the breath of dragons. "Look," she gasped as she pointed up to the sky with one paw.

"Starbound must be trying to tell us something," added Wind as he gazed up at the sky with mesmerized eyes. "Perhaps they are showing us how dragons will kill us if we try to attack them?"

Storm Wind bared his teeth in a rage filled snarl. "Starbound would never wish out surrender!" He darted onto a rock and reared on his hind legs, pawing furiously above him. "Come down here and fight like real dragons with honor.

It wasn't long before Heavystep landed with his bones rattling. Most of the wolves yelped in terror and darted behind their alpha, waiting for the next command. "Hold your positions," ordered Storm Wind above the growls of Heavystep.

Heavystep grinned. "Looks like some wolves want to play," he chuckled as he licked a bit at his teeth. "How delightful?"

Skypacer landed beside him and let out a yowl. Swiftstream, Darkflight, and Stormchaser followed, standing their ground and yowling out battle cries. Russet Feather and Wind darted over to the dragons and stood over there.

"What are you doing," cried Moss Fire with round eyes.

"We've chosen our side," replied Russet Feather sternly. "We don't believe in this bloodshed!" She gazed around the wolves. "Anyone else who doesn't agree step forward and join us!"

Wolverine Claws was the first one to move and his littermate, Badger Mask, leaped up to stop him. "Wolverine Claws, what are you doing?"

Wolverine Claws turned his head to face his brother. "Russet Feather is right. Enough is enough." He padded over and stood beside her, his muscles rippling.

It wasn't long before Gray Smoke, Broken Wing, and Misty Meadow joined them. Badger Mask was the last one and he pressed against his brother affectionately. "A family always sticks together."
