Cash and I had done zero wedding planning. Besides knowing we wanted it at the cottage we didn't do anything.

We both weren't stressing.

This is where Cash and I's similarities clashed. We probably should have things actually planned for our wedding in three months.

We didn't send out "Save the Date" cards.

Luckily, it was a very small and private wedding so we weren't that fussed over sending out invitations. The people we wanted there already knew they were invited.

Cash had been a bit in her head lately and I didn't know why. I knew she wasn't having second thoughts about the wedding but something was bothering her.

"Are you okay?" I asked standing on the side of her as she cleaned the same pan for the past five minutes.

"What?" She asked looking at me breaking out of her daze.

"How about, you let me finish these dishes and you pick out a movie for us to watch?"

"Okay."

She left silently and I heard ruffling in the living room telling me she was indeed flipping through movies.

Once I finished the dishes I found her still standing by the DVD case lost in thought.

"Talk to me," I said grabbing her hand and leading her to the couch. She sighed and leaned into me placing one hand on my thigh.

"I don't have anyone to walk me down the aisle," she whispered.

I hadn't even considered this, Cash's father was gone and this is a huge moment in her life.

"Oh, Cash," I sighed kissing her head. "Why didn't you talk to me about this sooner?"

"It's not exactly a fun topic of conversation," she weakly laughed.

"But I want that, I want the hard and the difficult. We're getting married, Cash. I want you to tell me about these things. What's going on in your mind?"

She sighed again before opening up. "Ever since he died I just told myself if I got married it would be an elopement with my closest friend to marry my fiancé and I and then we could celebrate after with family and friends but the actual ceremony would just be us. Just so that I didn't have to experience something so big without him and I wouldn't walk down the aisle alone. It's so selfish."

"It's not, I think it makes perfect sense that you would want to elope. Do you still want to?"

I didn't care, I just wanted Cash as my wife. If she wanted to elope, I'm all for it.

"I wouldn't ask you to do that."

"Why?"

"Because you actually have a good relationship with your family, I mean I have my grandma and my mom and I are working on things but I know how much your mum and sister mean to you and they mean so much to me too. I know you want them there."

"But, Cash, you are my priority, you are the love of my life. Yeah, I do want them there but I also don't mind them not being there. We are already private people as it is, it wouldn't be shocking to elope and I actually like the idea, we can get married earlier and celebrate later," I smiled.

"I want you to do this because you want to, I don't want you to regret not having a wedding."

"The only thing I will regret is not marrying you as soon as I can. I don't care about a traditional ceremony, we are not traditional people," I laughed making her smile. "What do you say? Marry me?"

"When?"

"Today?"

Her eyes grew wide and she smiled with an open mouth in disbelief. "You can't be serious?"

"I am, think about it. We can still get married at the cottage just... today... and Niall can marry us. We both love and trust him and then we can call our lawyers to get the papers signed."

"Harry Styles, you amaze me everyday." She smiled placing a soft kiss on my lips.

"Does this mean you'll marry me today?"

"Absolutely."

heyyyy soooo sorry for the delay in updating! i'm working two jobs which is getting to be a lot more time consuming than i thought. butttt here's a chapter!! only 8 more chapters i think?? we're wrapping up! next chapter is the wedding & celebration with fam & friends. things will continue to jump in time. some chapters will just be short glimpses into their lives as they grow. some chapters will be longer and more in depth. anyway, i do have another story sitting in my
drafts that i really like so when this is finished i will devote more time to writing and getting that story up! thank you for sticking with me. i appreciate you all soooo much.
