hermione stared as she saw her former boyfriend kiss astoria greengrass by the bar where hermione was drowning her feelings at. her boyfriend of five years just broke up with her and she wanted to stop thinking about it.
but of course once she gets to the said bar she sees another one of her exes, but this one ex was different, this was the ex that hermione didn't want to be her ex [if that makes sense]
this was the ex that always came to her mind when she was sad, this was the ex that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
this ex was draco malfoy.
she sighs to herself and picks up her firewhiskey and downs it one gulp and tries to look away from the couple but always finds herself looking at them a minute later.
and as if sensing her presence, draco turns around when she finally looks away and stops in his tracks, not at all believing his eyes.
hermione granger was just across the room from him. he quickly excuses himself and walks up to the brunette witch.
"granger?" hermione gasps at the voice and slowly starts to turn and face the voice, she didn't think she was going to talk to.
"malfoy" she says, cooly, but secretly hyperventilating on the inside
"how are you?" he asks, when she doesn't say anything else
"alright and you?" she says, awkwardly moving her arm forward and backward
draco just nods a yes and looks at her, getting a good look after all these years
she's changed rapidly since our days in hogwarts he thought taking in her appearance
he sighs to himself, he missed her and he did still loved her
"herm-" he quickly gets cut off by hermione who puts a hand on his arm
"can i tell you something?"
draco just nods his head speechless that after all these years, just a touch from her can him feel all
gooey
"i miss you" she says, looking down at her muddy shoes
and what draco does after surprised her, and him too. he hugged her
and after a minute she hugs back
"i miss you too"
and when draco pulls away from hermione, she has tears in her eyes
she quickly wipes them away,
"but in another life, i'd be your girl draco" and quickly kisses him on the cheek
before grabbing her purse and quickly getting out of the now empty bar.

i have a dramione story idea! what if someone made like a harry potter story but it's based on the breakfast club!
like it sounds like a good storyline and book to me! if someone ever makes it hmu i'll literally be the first to read!
