draco stood in the darkness of the church. far from an onlookers eye. he was trying not to be seen... because who would want to see an ex deatheater at a funeral?
draco watched as everyone he once went to school with put a flower on the now loaded coffin. it truly was heartbreaking to him, he would always see the twins together, they never were apart. they were close, even he could tell. and he knew that this was going to be the first time that george weasley truly was going to be alone.
he tried not to look at george, who was loudly sobbing, his knees on the ground with his head bowed down next to the ground. it truly was a heartbreaking sight to see.
draco turned to see hermione granger with her head on harry potter's shoulder, she was quietly sobbing. draco could see that her body was shaking. he wondered if her and fred were close. which he soon realized that they probably were ---
draco always thought the twins were funny. they were the people that everyone would be talking about in the hallway. they were the type of people who draco thought would never be apart.
draco looked again to see hermione now on the floor with harry now with his hands on her back. he would've done anything to get out of the corner and go comfort her himself but he knew he couldn't do that.
draco hated to admit it, but draco had a crush on the brightest witch of her age ever since fourth year when he thought she was going to die when she was kept under the ocean for over a hour and it scared him. it really scared him.
but draco knew nothing was going to happen between them because she was her and he was him. she didn't deserve him, he didn't even think he deserved himself-
draco looked around at the scene, he was seeing crying people everywhere and he knew he didn't deserve to be here so with one more glance at the room and hermione.
he stepped out without a glance, hearing the door slam with a boom.
leaving only the door between him and her. -
can we just have a moment to remember EVERYONE that died in ALL the wars[harry potter and real life alike]
also i read somewhere [by a fan] that draco actually went to fred's funeral but he was hidden. and that is what caused me to write this today. someone should tell me if this is like canon or not...
