Working at the Phantomhive Estate was both chaotic and fun for Nagisa in the two weeks he'd been stuck in the Victorian Era.
Well, when he's with the quartet of goofy servants.
It was chaotic because of how much the other servants would mess up their tasks (Nagisa would help them clean up after themselves if he was near though) and it was fun because of how they acted.
Mey-rin acted like a clumsy, overprotective older sister, Bard was like that one weird uncle that almost every family has, Tanaka acted like a grandfather who didn't talk much and Nagisa saw Finny as an older cousin figure. However, he just couldn't seem to analyze Sebastian. At all.
He had no wavelength, so Nagisa couldn't detect him. He was mysterious. He always did everything perfectly. No matter how bad the other servants messed up, he always managed to fix it and make things ten times better than they were before.
Nagisa sighed to himself. The red-eyed butler just seemed too perfect. But at least everything else was well...to an extent.
He missed his home. He missed his friends. He missed his teachers and he still wasn't completely over Koro-sensei's death.
Every night before he went to bed, he'd put his phone on battery-saving mode and gaze at the pictures he took with his friends and teachers. Yes, he somewhat missed his parents, but that was something at the back of his mind.
He would also listen to whatever music he had downloaded whenever he could. Some songs brought back gleeful memories, some brought back devastating ones and others were nostalgic. Sometimes Ciel would even ask to listen to his ''futuristic music'' during their tutoring sessions (which were going quite well). He had never been more thankful for keeping random stuff in his pockets.
He would practice his fighting techniques as well. Just because he wasn't in 3-E nor had to assassinate his teacher anymore didn't mean that he should get rusty. He was in a different country in a different time period, so everything Karasuma taught him and the rest of his class should come in handy eventually. The blunet was even saving up to buy a dagger (or multiple if he could afford it).
He went into town with the other servants the last time he was paid and a dagger in a weapons shop caught his eye. After checking the price, he realized that he'd be able to buy it the next time he was paid. Sadly, he didn't do much else while he was there. He mostly focused on not getting lost in the crowd.
And while Nagisa was able to get used to the other servants' weird ways, he was not able to understand who the person before him was and why he was so adamant on fighting against Sebastian. Every day, Nagisa gazed at the fight with either a deadpanned or nonchalant expression.
Sebastian always won their little ''battle'', while the other guy lost. Nagisa didn't bother learning the latter's name due to him not really caring about him. Especially today.
Nagisa accidentally got a late start on his duties because he was up later than usual polishing his moves. And then this guy showed up at the Manor again. Normally, he would be able to continue his duties but today the Young Master was observing the fight.
And the other servants dragged him outside but that's beside the point.
Nagisa sighed as a tumbleweed drifted past- wait, how did a tumbleweed get here? While Nagisa was pondering how a tumbleweed of all things was in the vicinity, the man in a kimono took on a fighting stance.
"Take this! Secret technique!!" Nagisa was jolted out of his thoughts when the man yelled. With keen eyes, Nagisa switched his gaze to the ''fight'' before him. He already knew how it was going to end, anyway.
