Anastasia "Stacey" Lambert; Belgian/ Dutch ancestry; Stacey Lambert is an attractive, athletic student who attends Syracuse University and develops a gradual friendship with Mia Vasquez-Rivera once they first meet each other at freshman orientation. She is a seemingly kindhearted soul who sees every person she encounters as a potential friend and generally tries to have a positive attitude towards everything and everyone, easily hugging others during her interactions. She has a classic femininity with her outward gentleness, sensitivity, empathy, and sweetness, which earns her significant popularity with the opposite sex. She is inclined to just as easily lavish love and affection on others and is always eager to compliment them in return. Unlike Mia, Stacey is very much attuned to her environment and has an affinity for sports, continually adapting physical activity into her daily routine with her love of volleyball and involvement in her school's dance team. The daughter of a well-to-do father who earns his living as a physical therapist and an equally beautiful stay-at-home mother who was formerly a widely acclaimed equestrian, she comes from a relatively privileged background and had a seemingly stable upbringing in her early years. Stacey had a particularly close relationship with her more introverted brother Ryker, with whom she would spend quality time as they sat through his favorite Marvel films, and was seldom seen without her considerably large group of girlfriends or her pet cat Star. She is known for her recurring love for Taylor Swift, spreading Nutella on her bread, and eating sushi because "it looks so cute on a plate". She has a part-time job at a local Bath and Body Works on the side to earn some extra spending money for her outings with her friends.
She has a penchant for showing off her assets through form-fitting leggings and crop tops in her downtime. Following most of the trends with the other girls, Stacey has shown to be active in social movements and can be dismissive and judgmental at times, as well as sensitive and rash. She was a theater kid growing up and took speech classes as a middle school student, although she becomes upset when an unpopular girl cast as one of The Whos steals the spotlight from her in a play titled Seussical the Musical. Her personality clashes with Mia's at first, who experiences envy towards Stacey and sees her as "basic" upon noting her good looks and natural charisma when interacting with others. This jealousy was particularly augmented once Mia erroneously concluded that Cason Hughes had feelings for her upon seeing them interacting together and briefly embracing in a private moment after class, despite Cason's admitting to having an interest in Mia instead. Stacey was popular with her peers from a young age and made friends easily, as her natural beauty and assured, positive personality made her a natural leader within her age group. She aspired to play for the women's national volleyball team and attend Boston University to follow in her father's footsteps and become an occupational therapist. She naturally excelled in most things she set her mind to and was equally as proficient in sports as she was in her studies, making her the first freshman to play in the varsity volleyball team at her former school. She constantly pressured herself to be number one, as her main objective is to establish some kind of reputation or image based on what she believed to be acceptable.
Stacey was a lovely child even at the age of 3 who received compliments from strangers for her beautiful, creamy complexion and large, dark blue eyes, which were so large that her family regarded them as "blue pools". She had a naturally slender build and was regarded as lucky by her childhood best friend Isla, a short, cheerful girl of Korean descent who admired her inability to gain weight regardless of what she ate. Her popularity throughout her youth made her noteworthy among her appears as she participated in her school's yearbook committee and theater club, but also made her the source of envy of many girls who vied for her reputation. Her life would take a downturn upon her diagnosis with epilepsy during her 4th grade year, during which she started to lose a substantial amount of weight. Stacey grew increasingly worried until an infamous incident during which she fell on the floor of the girls' restroom once she suffered a seizure. Although she would make a steady recovery upon being diagnosed with her condition by her pediatrician and vowed not to let her disease define her, her reputation fell among her classmates once she found herself betrayed by her close friend Zelda Wright, whom had filmed the entire incident and posted in on YouTube. Upon losing the trust of her old friends and failing to secure a position in the girls' volleyball team due to her looming womanhood, her father decided to move her to his hometown of Bakersfield, California to give her a fresh start. Despite the isolation she faced as she tried to reinvent her identity, she chose to take her setbacks in stride and developed new interests, such as her newfound love for singing and recording covers of her favorite songs to post on YouTube for fun.
