MIKAH POV:
I didn't intend for Eleri to find out at least not yet but now that she knew it felt good and she did run at first but who wouldn't. I was scared after the way she found out she'd never talk to me again but instead, she hugged me, accepted me. I knew there were more questions she wanted to ask but didn't. She probably wanted to know what happened between us in the woods. I wonder if she felt it too.
The feelings I have when I'm around her are feelings I've never had before and deep down I know why but I need answers before I tell her, she's human after all. But I'm not sure how long I'll be able to keep it from her. The need to protect her and be by her side would be hard and I wanted to kiss her when we were in the woods but after what happened with that ass Jackson I knew it would be too soon and I also knew that if I crossed that line there would be no coming back from it or fighting it.
I watched Eleri drift off slowly. I watched her sleep through the dark. My sight is a lot better than humans. Then I felt my eyes get heavy and soon I was asleep too.
ELERI POV:
Mikah held me and pushed me down onto the bed following me with his body on mine. He smelled amazing.
"Eleri your all mine," Mikah said kissing me hard.
I dug my nails into his back and let out a small gasp as he started to move his hips with mine.
I could feel him growing from enjoyment and started to call my name.
"Eleri," he said panting.
"Eleri, hey Eleri."
I opened my eyes and saw Mikah shaking me slightly. Realising that it had all been a dream I sat up quickly Accidentally head butting Mikah in the process.
"Ouch, sorry!" I said rubbing my head.
"Haha, don't worry about it." He said rubbing his. "Were you having a bad dream? You were breathing heavily."
My face turned bright red. "Oh uh, yes kind of - anyway I'm fine now," I said quickly, trying to change the subject.
"Well good. I got you a coffee." Mikah said, handing me a mug filled with coffee.
I took it from him and took a big sip. "You're the best!"
"I know," he said with a laugh.
I finished my coffee and put my clothes on handing him back his shirt.
"Well, I should get back before anyone notices I'm missing."
"Right of course," Mikah said, almost looking disappointed.
"Well." I cleared my throat, not sure what to say. "See you around."
"Eleri wait," Mikah said just as I started to unzip the tent. "Meet me in the same spot in the woods again tonight?
I stepped out of the tent and poked my head back into the tent. "See you there!"
For the rest of the day me, Cat, Lukass, April, and Max hung out.
April was Cat's best friend, she's blonde, curvaceous, and beautiful but stuck up. She's Cat's best friend after all and Max, well where to begin. He's tall, blonde and he plays for the college football team and all the girls love him. Once he asked me to have a quicky with him in the storeroom and I was working on an art project at the time and splashed him with paint. He ran away crying like a little girl.
I didn't care for Max very much but here we are.
"So Eleri," Max said, elbowing me. "you and Jackson, what happened there?"
"Nothing happened," I said defensively.
"That black eye he's sporting isn't nothing."
"Well I didn't do it so it has nothing to do with me," I said shrugging.
"I think he looks kind of hot," April said, biting her lip.
"You think black eyes are hot?" Max said, turning to April.
"Well yeah in a bad boy way."
This girl is weird.
"But you know who's hotter, Mikah," April said tilting her head towards Mikah who was talking to a group of other leather jacket guys.
"You've got that right," Cat said to April and they both giggled.
Just them talking about him made me so jealous. I can't even believe myself right now. After that dream, I've been feeling all sorts of weird ways. Well being honest with myself ever since that first-night sharing Mikahs tent I've been feeling sorta ways. But I don't have any right to be jealous. It's not like he's mine.
Cat placed a hand on April's arm. "You should totally go talk to him." She said with a smile.
April nodded, got up, and walked towards Mikah.
I actually can't believe Catrin right now. After what I told her Mikah did for me you would have at least thought she wouldn't try to set up her friends with him. Or was this some sort of game to her. I hung out with Cat yes but I always wondered what her game was when it came to me.
April strutted up to Mikah and placed a hand on his arm and flipped her hair. I couldn't hear what she was saying but I assumed she was flirting and making small talk but he didn't send her away. He kept talking to her, he even looked like he was enjoying it.
Of course, who wouldn't April is gorgeous. Then as I'm watching them he introduces April to one of his friends, Matt.
Matts blonde and has a kind of surfer look to him with his hair. He's slim, muscular, and just as tall as Mikah. I wondered if he was in his pick?
I could instantly see they were hitting it off and I relaxed slightly. Turning around to look at Cat and Max again I could see a little bit of hurt in Max's face.
"Max? You okay?"
"I'm fine, why?" He said, shrugging like it was no big deal.
It wasn't my place and I really didn't want to get involved but I'm pretty sure he liked April.
"Oh nothing, I just always thought you and April would make a good couple," I said trying to act casual.
He tensed and looked at April again. "Yeah well it is what it is"
"Yeah, I guess so."
"Oh please," Cat said harshly. "Like you care."
What's up with her?
Taken aback I stared at Cat for a moment. "What's that meant to mean?"
"You have every guy you want so don't try and play matchmaker now."
Now I know what this was about it's got to be about Mikah and punching Jackson to defend me. I knew I shouldn't have told her but it just slipped out, I didn't think she would act like this.
"Well I don't want any of these guys thanks," I said getting up and walking away from her.
Sometimes I wish I had a real friend to lean on. With all the rumors people either want to use me or they hate me. But if anyone took the time to get to know me they'd know I'm nothing like anyone says I am.
Mikah knows me for who I am. The thought made me smile.
I stormed back to my tent sitting just outside of it. I do wish I had someone close to me that I could talk about Mikah to. Not the whole werewolf part obviously but they way I feel and wondering if he feels the same.
