MIKAH POV:

I hadn't notice that Eleri had even left till my phone rang and I saw her name pop up on the screen. I quickly tucked myself away into the downstairs bathroom.

"Hey, Eleri you-,"

"Mikah? Mikah are you there? I'm in the woods I need your help. The rogues." Eleri shouted sounding scared out of her mind and the hair stood up on the back of my neck.

"Eleri!" I shouted not caring if anyone heard me "Eleri can you hear me?!" And the phone went dead.

My inner wolf was screaming at me telling me something was really wrong and I needed to find Eleri.

I ran out of the bathroom as quick as I possibly could without shifting and headed to the door.

"Hey Mikah where you going?" Asked Gabriel.

Out of everyone he'd be the one to hear me shouting with his werewolf hearing and all but I didn't answer I just stormed out the front door and jumped in my car. I needed to find her, she said the woods but where in the woods could she be. I remembered the bit of woods at the front of her house and knew it would be a short cut from Cats to get to her house.

I slammed on the breaks and jump out the car shifting to search the woods and to pick up her sent. I looked around the woods sniffing as I went and picked up her sent. I came across her phone and shifted back to my human form to pick it up. The screen was smashed.

shit!

I had this horrible gut feeling and my inner wolf was screaming at me even more now.

i ran back to the car hoping Eleri's parents wouldn't look out of a window or something and see me as I was completely nude but at the same time I didn't care and Eleri was my only concern right now. i jump in the car and drove as fast as I could to the pack house and charged through the doors.

i stood in the foyer and shouted for everyone to come down and as they did a look of concern washed over each one of their faces noticing I was naked and completely filthy from looking around in the woods.

"Eleri has been taken by rogues we need to find her!"

My beta logan ran to my side. "do you think it was the same rogues from the other night?"

"its a huge possibility and they most likely taken her to their hide out so we need to find out as much information as we can and find her quickly!"

everyone nodded in agreement.

"Logan, Jada, the two of you go out looking for Eleri and any abandoned buildings In the area and also try and find out as much information about the rogues as you can." I finished and they made their way out.

"Silas, Meya and Matt, go stand guard at Eleri's house. We need to protect her family and wait out to see if she ends up coming home" I was sure the latter wouldn't happen but here's to hoping.

"Ryder, Damon and Violet stand guard on the door and house make sure no one is trying to attack while they think we're vunrebel and Adam and Aria? come with me." I said I as started making my way to my office.

"Aria?"

"yes Alpha?" Aria responded.

Can I borrow some of your clothes for Eleri? i have no idea what state shes going to be in when we find her and the last thing she was wearing was a dress so I'm sure some clean clothes will good to have on hand."

"yes of course Alpha ill grab them for her right away." she said running out of the room Aria was the youngest of us and the newest. She was fitting in Nicely here and her and Eleri were getting on really well. she's about the same hight and size as Eleri so I thought she'd be best to ask.

"how can I help Alpha?" Adam asked.

"we need a weapon for Eleri." I said marching around the room restlessly. "once we find her she'll need something to help protect herself.

"we've seen what she can do with a bow."

The thought of how she'd handled the rogues before made me smile. She was small but she was a little bad ass.

"that's true but we don't know if she'll have the strength."

"We have a dagger? that should be perfect for her." Adam said looking at me.

"right go get the dagger and see how Aria is getting on."

"yes Alpha."

I was now alone in my office and with my mind was still spiraling out of control. what are they going to do with Eleir? what is their aim by taking her? i swear if they fucking hurt her ill kill every last one of them. As those thoughts crossed my mind rage ran through me and i punched the wall closest to me making a fist sized dent in it and was breathing heavy.

Why had I let her out of my sight? Why had she left without telling me? She should never have walked home by herself not after what happened, what on earth was she thinking! I felt like such an ass for loosing my temper with her over Gabriel she's my mate I should trust her but that guy gets under my skin and seeing them kiss each other at the party and the way he smirked and looked at me. I wonder if it was him that told the rogues about her? He had threatened to do so before.

I had to find out who told them about Eleri but first I needed to find her. I decided once she was back with me I'm going to keep her here ask her to move in. It's soon but hopefully she'll see my reasoning but her parents would probably never allow it. I needed a way of protecting her. I wouldn't let her out of my sight again.

"You really love her don't you?" Aria said as she entered the room with a bag in hand.

"She's my mate of course I do."

"You know what I mean Mikah, you can have a mate and not have any attachment to them. This is different, she's different."

"She is." I said smiling.

"It's weird I get this vibe from her. Are you sure she has no connection to the supernatural world?"

"No of course not, don't you think we'd know by now?" I said thinking out loud.

"That's true. I just can't understand how you mated with a human."

"Me neither but I wouldn't change it."

"Good, We all really like her. We think she'll make a great Luna." Aria said with a big grin on her face.

"With everything she might not become my Luna, She wanted to see what life was like for us before making her decision and so far I see no reason for her to agree." I said my heart sinking at the thought.

"She will, Trust me."
