Part 30 - Out in the open.

I blinked and my birthday weekend flew by. The rest of the weekend was amazing, Mikah made me breakfast in bed and gave me the most amazing necklace with a stone that matched his eyes perfectly and said it represents me being part of the pack. I've never felt so loved by so many people.

I told Aria that I finally wanted to make it official with Mikah and become his mate so she's organised taking me underwear shopping after college which I hesitantly said yes to, she's very persuasive.

I pulled up outside college and started making my way down the corridor to my locker. Mikah had to get in early and do some bits for his book before class so I came in by myself. I was nervous to see Cat as we haven't spoken since our fight and I know she'll want to get me back for it eventually.

As I was moving some of my art supplies from my locker to my bag someone slammed my locker closed.

"Hey there beautiful"

"Oh, Max, hey," I said shyly backing away from my locker slightly.

"I hear it was your birthday over the weekend?" Max said and could see something mischievous in his eyes and it made my skin crawl.

"Yeah, it was."

"I'm sad I didn't get you anything." He said coming uncomfortably close to me with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah, well, I don't mind, really!" I said trying to smile and reach back to my locker that he was now blocking.

Max kept creeping his way closer and closer to me.

"Let me make it up to you" he whispered in my ear and he slid his hand up my leg under my dress.

I slapped his hand and push him away but he must have seen that coming as he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me into him.

"Don't be like that, Eleri." He said with a Disgusting smirk on his face. "Everyone knows your easy."

"Get the fuck off her." I hear a loud voice growl and I looked up to see Mikah.

"Oh hey man, you're going to have to wait your turn." As soon as Max finished his sentence Mikah flew his first into Max's face making a loud impact that made me jump, making Max tumble to the ground.

"Omg, Max!" April cried as she and Cat approached running to his side.

Mikah went to approach Max again and his yellow eyes were glowing with rage.

"Hey, Mikah, look at me," I said jumping in front of him holding his face in both my hands. "Look at me, I'm okay, he's not worth it. Okay?"

I looked into Mikahs eyes for a moment and the tense face that scared me soften and he let out a small sigh and leaned his forehead on mine.

"No man should ever touch a woman like that, especially not you."

"I know but look I'm okay, you were here," I said looking deep into his eyes as they soften and stopped glowing with rage.

"No way, are you two-" Cat said pulling us away from the moment and I realised where we were. We were surrounded by a swarm of students wanting to know what was going on and I could hear them whispering but I didn't care anymore, I love Mikah and I want to world to know he's mine.

I let go of Mikah's face and turned to face Cat. "Yes, we're together and have been for a long time. So when you said he would never go for a girl like me you were already so wrong."

Cats mouth just opened like a fish breathing for air on dry land, but she said nothing.

"The bitch finally stops talking," I said approaching her. "Oh and just so you know" I whispered, "he's great in bed." And with that, I turned and grabbed Mikah's hand and led him through the crowd of gossiping students.

After a moment of walking down the hall, Mikah stopped and gave me a little smirk.

"Great in bed am I?"

Damn you werewolf hearing.

"Ha," I laughed nervously "well I have no doubt you will be."

"I actually wanted to talk to you about that."

"okay?" I said nervously.

"the end of year winter dance, are you going?"

"I hadn't really thought about it honestly, why?" that was a lie, of course, id thought about it and hoped Mikah would ask me to be his date.

"well id like you to be my date, if you want to go that is."

"of course I want to go with you silly!"

"and by the night of the dance, if you still want to be my mate." He leant in whispering. "then we'll make it official. only if you're sure."

my heart started beating out of my chest and I could feel my cheeks turning bright red.

I knew in my heart that this is what I want but I still haven't told Mikah about my dad and my hunter bloodline. it could change everything.

"so, what do you think?"  Mikah said pulling me from thought.

"I already know what my decision is."

"it's a big decision Ell, so please really think about it till then."

" I will."

Mikah pulled me into a hug and kissed the top of my head.

"see you after class."

"oh actually, Aria and I have plans so ill see you tomorrow?"

Mikah gave me a little smirk. " okay see you tomorrow."

Aria and I arrived that this lingerie shop that she'd told me had the cutest selection on underwear and costumes.

Aria ran around the shop picking out some options for me while I looked around at these mannequins with tiny lace bras on.

"Aria I really don't know about this." I said feeling unsettled by the thought of wearing these in front of Mikah.

"You'll look amazing trust me." Aria said as she handed me a couple sets and pushed me towards to fitting rooms.

"What if he laughs at me."

"He'll do the opposite of laugh honey." Aria laughed and I blushed.

I tried on the first red Lacy number and looked at myself in the mirror. I just didn't feel sexy, far from it in fact.

"What dress are you wearing to the dance." Aria asked.

"I haven't even thought about that yet."

"Well we can go dress shopping together" aria cheered with delight.

"Are you going? You don't do to our college?"

"Uh, yes actually I am."

"Who are you going with." I said curiously. I didn't think she knew anyone from outside the pack that went to my college.

"Well uh, you can't judge me, okay?"

"I would never, Aria!" I said slightly shock by the fact she thought I would.

"I'm going with Matt."
