Part 5 - They live among us.

ELERI POV:

I woke up and it was still dark. I could still hear a few people talking but it sounded like the party was dying out. I looked around and noticed I was in Mikahs tent. I breathed out a long sigh. I was so glad he was there.

Where is he?

I grabbed the tee that was still on the sleeping bag where I'd left it this morning and put it on.

I poked my head out of the tent and looked around for Mikah. I saw him off in the distance making his way into the woods near the tent.

What is he up to? I thought to myself.

I climbed out of the tent and started to follow him. He was way ahead of me but I could still make him out. As we got deeper into the woods I noticed him start to take him clothes off and place them but the root of a tree.

I turned away for a moment, realising he'd completely stripped off his clothes and was naked in the woods. I looked back in confusion and wondered why the heck he was naked in the middle of the woods and then when I started to hear the sounds of bone cracking and Mikah fell to the ground.

"MIKAH!" I screamed running to him.

What's happening, is he hurt? so many things rushing through my head as I ran to him. I got to Mikah and that's when I saw it. The wolf I had seen in the woods the day before in the spot Mikah had just been.

In complete shock, I didn't move. I just stared at the wolf in front of me and that's when I noticed its eyes. Eyes I looked into many times these past few days. Golden yellow eyes, Mikah's eyes.

"Oh my god," I said out loud, not realising it. I took a step back and looked at the pile of clothes at the bottom of the tree then back to this large wolf in front of me.

Another step back "oh my god". My mouth was suddenly so dry I wondered if I'd be able to speak. "M- Mikah?"

The wolf in front of me lowered its head and it slowly started walking towards me. Without thinking I turned and ran the other way.

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!

I ran and ran till I reached my tent and Cat was nowhere to be seen. I made my way into the tent and wrapped myself up in the blankets before I knew it I was crying.

What just happened. That wolf, it can't have been Mikah what else would explain what just happened. So many thought swimming around in my head till I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I woke in the morning and Cat still wasn't in the tent with me. She must have stayed in Lukass's tent for the night. Rubbing my eyes I sat there for a moment and remembered last night.

Mikah!

Suddenly Catrin burst into the tent.

"Hey, you! Where did you get off to last night?" She said sitting down opposite me. "You want to tell me what happened because Jackson seems to have a lovely black eye and won't tell anyone why?"

"He's a creep that's why!" I said covering myself with the blanket feeling vulnerable again.

"Shit Ell, what did that fucker do?!" She said coming closer to me. "He didn't hurt you did he-"

"No, no! I'm fine now okay Mikah was there and-"

"Mikah?" She said, cutting me off, "Mikah Evans, Mikah?"

"Yes, Mikah. He's the one that gave Jackson the black eye."

"That man is some kind of supernatural hot." She said biting her lip.
