Mileena knelt down to y/ns level
Mileena: you ....... you just called me mommy?

Y/n looked her in the eyes and nodded, mileena completely forgot her hand was bleeding

Y/n: I-I'm Sorry, I.....

She hugged the child and closed her eyes, wanting this feeling to last forever, this....love....that was the word wasn't it? She was unfamiliar with this feeling, not many people in her life had ever showed her this, only her father when he had lived....and the sorcerer who made her had alway held her in high regards saying she was " superior to her sister "

Her sister, she had a very good memory of kitana through the years

She remembered her first day of life, it was all dark
*22 years ago in the flesh pits*

Everything was pick black, she was alone as far as she could tell, she was cold and laying on something hard

She heard a voice in the darkness
Kitana: She looks....like me!

Mileena heard the beautiful voice and was instantly drawn to it as she opened her eyes and saw her, a beautiful face with most hidden behind a lovely blue mask, she felt such joy and smiles not yet knowing how she looked

The woman was the first person she had payed eyes on, she felt how they were the same, not her mother, what was the word?

Mileena: Sister!

She was so happy, she wasn't alone
Kitana gasps as she looked at her happily

She sat up and slid off the table noticing how kitana took several steps back away from her

Mileena: so pretty, so fair

She saw that kitana looked unhappy, hmmm why was that? She tried to guess

Mileena: so sad and alone.....

She meant to sound more sympathetic but her voice was still unfamiliar to her

She didn't like to see kitana sad, she thought quickly wanting to cheer her sister up

She walked towards her smiling

And opened her arms to embrace her

Mileena: come, let us be a family

She had expected this to cheer her sister up, to make her smile but what happened next broke her heart

Kitana: you are NOT my family, you are a monstrosity!
Mileenas smile left her although the teeth msy have made it hard to tell

Kitana brought out 2 blades and opened them as some sort of fans

Mileena couldn't help what came next, kitana struck at her but her instincts kicked in a moment before the blades hit her and she dogged away getting a long cut on her shoulder

Why didn't her sister love her? Why did they need to fight?

Her tarkaten DNA kicked her into fight mode and she attacked back

It was only later that she discovered what she really was, a clone

She tried a few times in the  first few years to make things better with kitana but she soon learned hoe much she was hated by all, so she became the bloodthirsty kombatant that everyone thought she was, at least it made mother and father happy, even if they weren't really her parents

*present day *

Mileena: y/n...... would...... would you be happy if I was your mother?

She asked fearing the answer, what if y/n had said mommy by mistake? What if ....

Y/n: y-yes I would, Your the best person I've ever met

Her fears were whipped away in an instant, but they were quickly replaced with worries about what would happen if she were to be the mother y/n needed

Mileena: then I will be, I'll care for you alway, I'll keep you safe until my last breath, I'll do anything for you..... I-I love you

She choked up around those last words feeling the tears in her eyes

Y/n: I love you to

She did something that she didn't really think about, she reached up and undid her mask taking it off of her face revealing her sharp teeth

Y/n only smiles up at her, not caring what she looked like

She smiles and stands picking y/n up with her and headed through the portal

It was that same familiar feeling of traveling between realms and when she emerged she knew instantly

Mileena: this isn't the right place

To start with what was wrong with this place was it was really really cold

Second was the group of 10 Lin kuei warriors that surrendered them both, and she was without her mask
