A frightful awakening

Y/n pov

Y/n awoke on a soft bed with warm blankets covering their small body. Y/n sat up but regretted it instantly, pain shot through them as they remembered the demon slashing its claws across y/ns back. They could smell food cooking from another room, it was an intoxicating aroma that lured y/n in. The child got out of the bed and looked around the room was empty except for a desk on the other side, y/n listened and could make out the sound of a woman singing.

Y/n followed the song until they found a large kitchen, at the stove stirring a pot of something. The woman wore purple tunic with black leggings and a purple mask over her mouth.

???: hello there child, food is almost ready 

Y/n: w-where a-am I? W-who are y-you?

the woman turned and looked at y/n, she had a strange look in her eyes 

???: my name is mileena, I brought you to my home to treat your wounds 

She could see y/n looking at the door and she let a note of panic creep into her voice.

Mileena: please don't leave, come have some soup

She said this fear showing in her eyes.

Y/n felt kinda bad for her so they walked and sat at the table. Mileena clapped happily and poured two bowls of the stew.

Mileena pov 

Mileena was so happy that the child hadn't left, she had been so lonely for a long time.

She placed a bowl in front of the child with a spoon and sat across from them giddily. She was about to take a bite of the soup she had prepared until she remembered her mask, she couldn't take off her mask in front of them, they would think she's a monster.

Mileena: so child, what is your name?

Y/n: It's y/n m-miss mileena

Mileena: that's a cute name 

The child blushed and mileena smiled under her mask.

Y/n: are y-you gonna eat miss mileena
