Mileena dreamed of a city, the city wasn't an earthly one, nor was it outworld, it was a beautiful city of crystal, in the dream she was in a thrown room, in a large crystal throne

???: your majesty?

She turned to see an old friend

Mileena: beraka?

The tarken was in royal armor and bowed to her

Beraka: Yes m'lady

She smiles as she hears a small laugh and she sees y/n run to her, she stood and hugged them picking them up into her arms

Y/n: hi mommy

She smiles, they had called her mommy, she loved them and they loved her

She sat back in her throne

Beraka: empress khan you and the little one must wake up

Mileena: What do you mean?

The sound of a deep laugh filled her head, it was a familiar laugh that she never excepted to hear again

Mileena: father?

She felt a great pain as beraka stabbed her and she woke up

She looks around to see a man in front of her looking worried

???: hey miss, are you ok?

She looks down to make sure y/n was still there and sighs in relief, she glares at the man and makes a shooing motion telling him to go away

???: hey you and your kid probably shouldn't be out here, it's really cold, you should come inside, my wife would be happy to let you two stay the night

Her sense of trust didn't like people who were nice for no reason, she didn't trust anything

He beckons her to follow him, she wasn't going to until she noticed the shivering body of y/n, and her own shivering

She slowly gets up picking up y/n and the backpack looking at the man

???: good, my name is Jason

Mileena didn't care, she surtenly wasn't going to tell him her name so she said nothing

Jason: So my wife likes to collect things from those outworld places, so we have some weird stuff, I hope you don't mind, she's a geologist and works over there sometimes

Mileena perked up a little, if a human woman could get to outworld easily, then so could she, then she could find her way to wherever she wanted

Mileena: is she now?

Jason: oh yeah, she loved it over there, said it was nice if a bit hectic, said you might be cut In half or burned alive, just depends on the day

Mileena nods, those were ways it regularly happened

When they walked in the apartment the wife of Jason looked up from her cooking smiling at Jason, that smile instantly dropped when she saw mileena, as did the pot in her hands, this woke up y/n
