Mileena growled as the young lin kuei opened the door to y/ns room, her cold eyes lighting with anger.

"Back away from the child tarkaten! They will not fall victim to you lunacy and magic!" The girl was already in a fighting stance.

"Y/n, stay behind me," mileena whispered to her child, pushing her exhaustion down as she flexed her clawed hands. She was sick and tired  of her way being bared, of her child being taken, of her words being ignored.

"I will give you one chance girl, back off, or I will RIP YOU APART!"

Mileena caught the girls wrist, as she threw the first strike, with brutal strength born of rage and years of abuse and mistrust, she yanked the arm forward and slame her elbow into the girls forearm, snapping the bone in two.

The lin kuei screamed but she didn't have enough breath to continue as Mileena wrapped her hands around her throat. She kicked the girls knee to bring her down before slamming her knee straight into the girls jaw, earning another sickening snap.

Mileena felt her life long rage boil up towards the surface, her tarkaten blood filling her vision with red, she wanted to kill this girl.

"Y/n.... go down stairs and find the woman named khameleon, she's the one who shimmers in the sun, carrying another girl, go, and wait with her," her words were gentle but commanding, unknowingly mimicking the voice of Sindel.

"But momma..."

"Now y/n, listen to me," mileena watched the child nod and run down the stairs.

Mileena turned her eyes back to frost, "you have one chance to let me leave, you will forget that we were ever hear and leave us be, yield!"

Frost growled through her broken teeth, using her good hand to form a blade of ice and stab it into mileenas side, sliding between her ribs and puncturing something.

Mileena yelped in pain and rage, but didn't release frostst throat, "wrong choice," she Squeezed her clawed fingers deeper, going through frosts skin, closing around the sharp bones of the girls spine.

With one single pull, removing the girls head, pulling its spine to accompany her silently screaming face.

Mileena threw the head to the side with a twisted satisfaction, forcing her pain down as she walked down the stairs to where her child and khameleon stood waiting.

"We must leave, the lin kuei will be after us, we must make for outworld to safety, khameleon, you may accompany us if you please," She gave the woman a short bow of respect, earning one back.

She offered her hand to her child and felt her joy return as they gripped her hand tightly.

"Let us leave this place," She began to walk through the snow, towards what mileena hoped was a village.

What mileena didn't see was the spinning tornado of sand that was forming in the room with the dead frost, and the figure that stood above her body.

"Every time line has its surprises, frost was meant to serve as a loyal servant and lead the cyber lin kuei,  but it seems that their has been an alterations, was not mileena meant to be dead by now?" The figure asked her hulking compatriot.

"She was mistress, her life seems to have irreparably altered this timeline, altering the fates and events of this iteration"

The titan narrowed her eyes, her fist clenching, "this disturbance has accelerated my plan, we make for netherealm to recruit the Lui Kang and kitana to defend the keep, come gearus, it's only a matter of time,"
