She had gotten out of sight from the castle before she collapsed of exhaustion

They hugged her starting to shake
Y/n: please don't leave me, I can't lose you
She could barely open her eyes until she heard y/n yelp at something, she had to .......get up.....but she couldn't muster any strength to do so
???; what's going on here?
Y/n: she's tired, she got hurt
Mileena hadn't noticed that, the adrenaline had dulled the pain in her side for a long time but she could now deal the ache in her side
She felt arms go under her body as someone picked her up
???: come, you'll be safe

Y/n was scared but followed the sad man, his long red cape blowing in the wind as they walked, his body was covered in some sort of black suit with white bits on it
???: who is this woman?
Y/n: that's Mileena
???: why were you two running, and don't lie to me
Y/n: the scary people were gonna hurt Mileena but she was too smart and we escaped
Y/n said smiling until the looked up at the man and saw the angry green eyes so they looked down
They walked in silence until they reached a cave and went inside
???: you may stay until she wakes up, then you get the hell out
Y/n nods and sits by Mileena holding her hand for comfort
*5 hours later*

Mileena woke slowly finding herself in some kind of rock with a small hand wrapped in hers, y/n
Well that was one good thing, she sat up slowly still tired and dehydrated
Mileena: ....water....
She opened her eyes seeing y/n look at her then over to their right
Y/n: Umm, mister can she have some water please
She followed his gaze to see a tall shadow wrapped in a long red shroud, the man came over with a cup of water and gave it to her, she pulled down her masks and drank happily
???: what kind of demon are you?
She felt cool steel against her head and looked up to see a weapon pressed into her forehead
Mileena: I am no demon
???: the only things down here are demons and dead men
Mileena: or visitors
???: with a mug like that I'm not very inclined to believe you, and what's with the kid?
Mileena: obviously you've never seen a tarkaten, they look even worse then me, I'm only half, as for y/n they are my child, I care for them
She moved fast stabbing her sai through the gun and pinning it to the floor
Mileena: I don't like to be threatened by strangers, who are you? A revenant?
???: I'm more then they could ever be, not of this hell
Mileena rolls her eyes, who was this clown?
She grabbed y/n and hugged them close
Mileena: I'm so relieved that your alright, we'll be back home soon, finally and we can have a good life together
Y/n smiles and hugs back
Y/n: thank you
They cuddle up to her and she looks at the red cloaked shadow
Mileena: can we stay for a few more hours, we need rest, and food if possible
The shadow sighs
???: fine, you get 3 hours, then I want you out
Mileena: I wouldn't want to stay any longer
Spawn : the name is al......but everyone else calls me spawn
He walked away to a different part of the cave she assumed to get food, her stomach growls, she could eat a whole shokan
She looks to y/n in her arms and smiles, soon she thought, soon they could finally go home to outworld

Soon her and y/n could pretend they lived a normal life, she could home school them, show them the beautiful parts of outworld, unfortunately they would have to always hide from everyone, damn her father, damn those who hunted her, damn all her enemies
