No we are getting into Tebogo's office, I haven't seen him after our kiss that made me feel like I'm existing. He looks at Thabang as we walk in and then his eyes shifts to me, I look down. I have no clue what we are doing here, all I know is that I'm in deep shit all thanks to the devil K Ramadi.

"I hope you can spare a few minutes to deal with this Seroka" Thabang

Tebogo nods and points at the chairs. We both sit down.

"What happened?" Tebogo

I'm avoiding eye contact, why is Thabang telling Tebogo about my business or behavior? Well obviously he can't go to K because they are arch enemies and Tebogo is the conflict resolver in this building.

"I need a second opinion on what to do with Ms. Madima here, she's failing to get her job done and now putting all the accounts she's handling at risk. She was supposed to give me my tax report this morning and till now she's still not done, clearly she's failing to do her job" Thabang explains

He's exaggerating though, this is the first time I fail to finish my work ever, and I always submit everything before the deadline.

"Did you get the report by now?" Tebogo leaning at his chair

"Clearly she's not done, that's why I'm here. I want a fair warning given to her but I want to get your opinion first" Thabang

Warning? Come on Thabang I only wanted a few minutes to finish up now I get a warning like seriously?

"I can finish this in few minutes please..."
He cuts me

"It's a bit too late for that dear, Seroka, what's your opinion?" Thabang

Tebogo looks clueless, he escapes my eyes to Thabang's.

"Spare her this time" Tebogo

"This can't be overlooked, it is bad for this company" Thabang now serious

He's been serious but now he is being mercy less.

"I understand that completely, then your decision is fair Phaladi"

No it's not, which side is Tebogo on?

"You have your first verbal warning Ms Madima for not doing your job on time, don't forget to give the elevator man his documents as well" Thabang says and leaves

I'm so mad at him and everyone else right now.

"Sit down" Tebogo commands

I was already on my way, I sit back down. He looks angry.

"Why are you not doing your work?"
I had a lot to do okay!

"I had to type three weekly reports and send them to K yesterday, I couldn't possibly finish anything" I explain

"Why didn't you give him hardcopies?" Tebogo looks confused

"He wanted softcopies, all in one day. Honestly Tebogo I didn't deserve that warning" Tebogo stares at me

"The decision was inevitable, you put me in a compromising position where I had to defend you in front of him. For the mess that Ramadi did, I'm not happy about this and the next time he enforce his unreasonable demands on you tell me so that I can be in a less compromising position than this one" Tebogo still serious

What is he angry at me for? I just explained to him why I failed to do the tasks.

"I'm sorry for not doing my job, I can't always run to you to fix my problems like this" I say
