I did not hear my alarm this morning, I was too tired for that. Surprisingly Dikeledi is coming over, she said she wants to talk. I don't know if I do want to talk to her ever since she threatened me.
My phone vibrates on the bed, I pick it up to check and to my surprise is Tebogo's text.

"I can't get you off my head, I know it sounds so cliché but it's true because I don't want to fall in love" Tebogo

I don't know what to say about this text, it's just so real, not cute or sexy. I also don't think I should reply, I will end up saying the dumbest thing and sound insensitive. Regardless, I'm not ready for a relationship. My life is too complicated to be involving anyone, Tebogo is a good guy but Thabelo is not a distant memory yet. I still find myself talking to him, longing for his touch and hating myself even more. Surprisingly I don't think about him when I'm with Tebogo.

Dikeledi is calling, she must be at the gate, I won't answer but go and fetch her.
As I thought she's at the gate, I press the remote and wait for her a distance, she walks inside.

"You look good, going somewhere?" Dikeledi

I'm laughing at this.

"Honestly, you are glowing" Dikeledi

Ooh I get it, this must be about Tebogo, she better not be here for that.

We get in, both settle on the couch.

"Your room is so warm and beautiful" Dikeledi

"Thanks, what are you doing here?" I say
She is now facing me.

"Did Tebogo post the video?" Dikeledi

What? I thought she's over it.

"No" I protest

"Why are you so sure? He's friends with K's ex-wife" Dikeledi states

So, what does that have to do with anything?

"Are you sleeping with him?" Dikeledi again

What's she on about? She's getting on my nerves right now. What is she here for to ask me such stupid questions?

"No, even if I were you wouldn't be the first to know especially from me" I say

"Look, I just want to be a friend and tell you that he's engaged. K told me himself" Dikeledi

Then why is he doing all this?

"He didn't post the video, but maybe you did" I think she is the one who did it
She laughs

"You knew that file was a video recorder, you saw the same file at K's office and stole the moment" I explain

"Are you high or something?" Dikeledi still looking at me in disbelief

"It's K and as you said, you'll do anything for him right? Only this time ending his marriage, almost ruining his career, reputation, all this came with a special reward, him. It only brought him closer to you, yes" I'm convinced that it's her

"I can't believe this Nondi" Dikeledi

"He feels bad for you, that's good enough to bring him closer to you" I can't stop thinking about all this madness

"Yes, it did, I did post the video myself, but you figure it out so quickly. I believe this will stay between us?" Dikeledi

"I'm not going to be telling anyone..." she cuts me out
