Dream Glow by BTS, Charlie XCX

The hotel room was gorgeous, a sight for sore eyes after the long, ten hour plane journey, let alone the waiting and taxi rides in the filler.

I dumped my bags on the floor, throwing my black coat off of my shoulders and laying it over one of the chairs to a vanity. The walls of the room were crisp white and the ivory bed was huge - big enough to fit at least five people in it comfortably. The lighting on the walls was set to a beautiful glow that lit up every corner of the room, a big, floor-to-ceiling glass window on the far side. It viewed the whole city of Seoul, so high up I could see the cars' lights down below and every twinkling window on every sky scraper in the night. The sun was very low, only the blue tint on the horizon before the city could finally sleep, the rest of the sky a midnight darkness.

I felt so infinite in that moment. The city was mine. It felt so 'girl against world' and cliché but I liked that. I liked the fact that I could forget about Sydney for now and live my new life.

I felt tired. The time on my phone read 8:43pm and I hadn't had food in hours and I wanted to just wash and get into bed. So that's what I did.

I called up room service on the hotel room telephone, ordered a hearty bibimbap and headed to the shower to wash. Moments after I emerged, my wet hair in a towel and a robe around my body, the room service was delivered to my door and after accepting it, I ate it at the mirrored desk, answering emails on my phone. After eating, I blow dried my hair and changed into pyjamas - grey pyjama bottoms and a black, loose fitting tee.

I heard a knock at my door. It was getting late now, about 9:30pm, so I opened it, presuming it could've been room service again with something they had forgotten.

What I saw instead made my heart become erratic with happiness.

"Rose!"

"Oh my god, Felix!"

I threw my arms around the neck of my best friend, the relief of finally seeing him washing over me. Felix smelled like mint and fresh air and it felt so good in my lungs. His hair was so different to how I remembered it - it was a lilac grey that was long on top but cropped shorts and the sides. It suited his cute but angular face, lips cherry red and pouty.

We quickly drew away, a large smile plastered on our faces as we thought of the same thing. Our handshake.

Doing our elaborate dance of hand movements, slaps, claps and snaps that we confidently knew every part to, I immediately pulled him back into an embrace the moment we completed it. I was surprised he still remembered it.

"I've missed you so much, Da Vinci," I sighed into the crook of his neck, standing on tip toes to reach him.

"I've missed you too, Michelangelo."

"I'd say I missed you also but we haven't met before," a Korean spoken voice said that startled me.

Felix pulled away, turning to the taller figure beside him, "Oh, yeah, I forgot about you," His hand came to rest on the boys shoulder, the fella looking completely unimpressed to how Felix forgot his existence, "This is Hyunjin-ah, but you guys have already talked before."

The slender boy that stood beside Felix looked hot. Like, model of the year, type of hot. He had blonde, jaw length hair that he wore in a half up hairstyle and piecing, sultry eyes that would've made girl or boy blush. He had full pink lips and a beauty mark under his left eye. He truly looked like a prince.
