INCEPTION by ATEEZ
~~~
Lee Minho
I saw her walk away behind him, Felix looking to the ground in a dissatisfied depression. Even as I lunged towards the exit of the circuit, feeling my hands clench up as I bit my bottom lip hard, Hyunjin's hand slammed against my shoulder.
"Let it go, hyung," he uttered, the usually carefree boy holding so much rationality in that moment.
I shook my head, about to press onwards, "I can't."
"Seriously," Hyunjin snapped, "Just let it go."
I stopped in my tracks, turning my head to meet the boy's serious gaze. Looking back to where Rose stood, Chan opening the door for her to one of garage's halls, I felt my blood boiling. It took every ounce of my being to not shove Hyunjin aside to storm over.
"Breathe, hyung," Hyunjin began, making motions with his hand to his diaphragm, "They're probably just going to talk."
"That's why it's angering me," I spoke, "Chan and I argued last night, now he's bringing that to Rose."
I thought back to the night previous, how Chan and I disputed with each other for over an hour, fighting about how Rose was to not be a love interest and how it was against our contract. Chan kept reminding me over and over what happened to Woojin, but this was different.
Woojin was secretly dating a fan, Rose was Felix's family. It just felt like he had it out for Rose and I couldn't figure out why.
Regardless, I didn't care. We never really finished our argument, I just left our dorm room. I read a book to calm myself down before going to sleep in Felix's room.
Hyunjin looked over his shoulder to the door closing that was far from us, "He'll be level-headed with her. He wouldn't fight with a girl."
"He's such a prick," I growled.
Hyunjin rolled his eyes at me, clearly fed up with the whole saga that continued taking place.
"Look, what you're gonna do now is do your bit for the camera, try not to get run over by those fast cars and deal with this later, okay?" Hyunjin plastered a fake smile, crossing his arms.
I wanted to hit him for how patronising he sounded, but instead, I just deeply huffed and tried to let the Chan situation slide.
"Okay, fine," I snapped, rolling my eyes and heading back over to where the crew were setting up the cameras.
Hyunjin patted my back before rubbing circles, "There's a good hyung."
