"What's with you and Team?", Dean asked
Win raised his brows and retorted "What's with your swoony eyes at my cousin?"
"What swoony eyes?" Dean averted his gaze "You're imagining things"
"Am I?" Win asked
"You are a good guy but Pharm's my dearest cousin and I would not want to see him cry nor do I want to lose you" Win patted Dean's shoulder and headed for the class.
On the other hand, Team fiddled with his tie while lost in his thoughts. He kept thinking of Win's gaze on him. He thought of how softly Win looked at him and the soft touch of his hand on his face, he liked Win's company. He was brought to reality by Pharm questioning him about his evening plan.
"I am going to stay back in the room, feel lazy to go out", Team replied, "How about you?"
"I am going to visit the mall nearby our dorm, they have a food festival ongoing and I am excited to visit", Pharm chirped
"I want to taste different varieties of food but I really do not want to be in a crowded place, I am mentally drained," Team said
"On a Monday? How are you going to survive the week?", a girl from behind said
"Hey Pharm, I will be joining you at the food festival today evening, let me know about the details of our meet up", Manaow told Pharm
"Sure Manaow"
"Let me introduce you to my friend Team", Pharm said
"Manaow, Team and Team this is Manaow"
"Hello" Team and Manaow shook hands
Team left with a small goodbye after class, he did not want to stay back cause he could not keep up with Pharm and Manaow's energy.
Win's POV
"Let's go to the food fest at the mall close to the university?", I asked Dean
"No, I want to head home and finish assignments, you should work on them. They're due Wednesday", Dean replied
"Whatever! I am going with Pharm then, he definitely will be interested"
I took out my phone to text Pharm asking about the food fest
"Is this food fest that good?" Dean asked with a weak voice
"Yes, I heard it has great ambiance and the food is great, sort of homely".
"Eh! I miss home-cooked food", Dean said
I narrowed my eyes at him and he averted his gaze
"What? Let's go to the mall, at least we can enjoy food in some quiet corner. I think it might help us work better on the assignment", Dean walked towards the parking.
Does he take me for a fool, I thought to myself
My phone beeped and I saw a text from Pharm
"Hey P', I am going to the food festival with my friend. I will see you there"
I might see Team there, I thought to myself and happily walked to the parking
I walked towards Dean "Let's walk to the mall, it's closeby and we can get our cars later on" I told him
We walked to the mall and around and it was good, it was crowded but good enough to be lost in the crowd and in one's own thoughts. I thought to call Pharm and meet him
As I was about to call Pharm, I heard Pharm come over to me and there was a girl next to him
I greeted Pharm and looked around for Team and was a little disappointed not to see him
