Swimming Trial

Team's POV

It was Thursday already and today we had a swimming trial for selection into the swimming club. I was in the changing room with others and hoped to see Hia Win before the competition but he was not to be seen around, I was a little nervous. I had not seen him after our last evening meet. He probably was busy with the swimming trial preparation. I was keeping my belongings in my bag aside when I heard a text notification on my phone, I hurriedly checked it and it was from Hia

The little text message made me smile and I moved out to the swimming area when I heard my friends Pharm and Manaow from a distance running towards me. I was happy to see them there, they wished me luck and went to the seating area. I again looked around and saw Hia who raised his brows and smiled at me. I smile back and take my position, I concentrated and on the sound of the whistle, I dove. 

After a few minutes, I surfaced at the other end and take a look around. I came first, I didn't know what was on my mind during swimming but I knew I had to win. I felt a towel wrapped around me and I looked up, it was Hia, he ruffled my wet hair and said, "Congratulations!" His hair was down and slightly covering his eyes, he had a soft smile. He looked charmingly handsome. I just wanted to keep staring at him which I was doing. 

"Win", someone called him, he looked at the direction of the voice

"I will see you later", he told me and left

Ha! What was I thinking about? The guy must have swooning women all over him. 

I saw Pharm and Manaow and went over to meet them. Manaow was hyper-excited as always and hugged me. I hugged her back, "Calm down Manaow", I laughed. 

"Congratulations, Team", Pharm said with a smile

"We should celebrate your win with some warm nice meal", Manaow said

"I wouldn't mind that if you are treating us tonight", I joked

"Uhh...okay!" Manaow dragged out the sentence

Pharm and I laughed "Just kidding, my treat. Let me change and I will join you outside the stadium?" I ask 

"Sounds fine", Pharm and Manaow chimed in

I changed into my regular clothes and headed out giving a last glance around for Hia but I couldn't spot him

I joined Pharm and Manaow and we headed to a nearby place for a meal.

Win's POV

I heard someone call my name, it was Dean. He wanted me to prepare some notes regarding the selection. I wanted to be with Team but I could not skip work either

"Where had you run off to from the food fest?" Dean asked me

"What's with the sudden question, that too after this long?", I asked back 

"No, was just wondering"

"Nowhere special, just was meeting a friend", I answered

"You seem close to Team", Dean asked intriguingly 

"What's with you today?", I was annoyed

"Just never seen you hand out towels to anyone before", Dean replied

"Team is Pharm's friend and has been homesick so I am just trying to cheer him up", I defended myself

"And also visit him with food?"

I was about to answer, well lie to him but he cut me

"Don't lie, I saw your car at Pharm's building while I was dropping him off", Dean said
