Chapter III

Finn's POV

I closed the door behind me. I put my right hand on my chest. My heart is pounding so loud. He's really here. Actually,when Jonah told me last Friday,I feel anxious. I was very happy when he left.  I did terrible things to him. Like making essay in Kanji,memorizing the kanji and it's meaning,all those difficult things I let him do it. He was annoying too. Maybe that's the reason why I let him do it.
He looks different now. Unlike before he is thin and his style is really sucks. But now,he can pass the standards for a ramp model. He's good looking man now.
Finn,you are now describing him. Behave!
I went to my office and continued doing my work. I put all my attention to the papers.
" I'm going back to the hotel." He said when he entered my office. I raised my head and looked at him. He's standing by the door. He smiled a little while his right hand is on his pocket.
"You don't have to tell me. You go."
"I should. "
"Fine."
I returned my attention to the papers in front of me.
Then I heard the door closed. I looked at the direction he went out.
He's not a good student though before. He could come to class once a week so I gave him some projects that is equivalent to the time he missed.
Healthy United is his father's company. However,he started being a low worker before coming to the right position. He was promoted little by little. And now he became the CEO. Well,this strategy would help him in his administration ability.
I have finished all the certificates. I already signed it and was given to the teachers. Our ceremony on Saturday will be just a short one.  Singing of national anthem each country which our students came from then a welcome message from the students,giving of certificates and a message from our alumni. Then a song rendition for the attendees.

My phone rang. I picked it up.
"Hello."
"Hello,Finn,I have made the programme already,can you please check this out?"
"Sure. Send it to me please."
"Alright thanks."
I put it back on the cradle. I massaged my temple.
I opened my email. I saw the programme and put it on MS word.
It's good already so I have to print it.
My phone ring.
"Hello,"
"Finn,we went to your grandmother's house. If you want,you can come here too. Everyone is here."
"No need,Mom. I want to take a rest early."
"Fine. "
"Thanks,extend my regards to them."
"You're grandma is looking for you."
"Tell her,I'll come when I am free."
"You're not free either."
"You know. Perhaps one of these days."
They are a little angry because of my strong dedication to work. I made good money with this company. I can't let this business hanging.

I went home. It's silent and dark. I turned the lights on.
My phone rings again. It was Jonah.
"Hello,Finn. Can you check Gray's speech?"
"Why?"
"Alec is here. "
"Fine. Send it to me."
"Thanks."
While I'm having my dinner,I checked his speech. It was long and meaningful.

Annyeong haseyo! Naneun Grayson Harry Montez- hamnida!
I am one of the products of Three Stars Language School. I studied Japanese for one quarter. It was not easy for me since I was assigned to a teacher who loves teaching.
I studied Japanese not because I want to go or stay or work in there. I didn't do anything at home after my work in Healthy United as a Sales representative. Healthy United is my family's business from my grandparents in Czech Republic. The headquarter is located in that country. I have never been there before. My parents never showed to me that we are rich. I didn't know either that I came from wealthy family.
Before I worked in this company, I became a working student in one of the university in our country. My parents were a very good actor and actress.
I have tried my best to work harder.
Then,I was given a chance to work in this company because my father told me he has a friend and can help me to land a job in Healthy United. My mother is sick that time and we need money. So I tried my luck to apply in this company. Unfortunately, my mothered died due to cancer. I don't know how did my father pay the bills but unknowingly, he has.
Then,I worked harder. Daytime I worked then after I came here to study.
I had good experiences in this school. I developed my patience and perseverance in doing those activities which I thought it made me sick for a week.
It made me strong and now,I am standing in front of you with confidence and  I'm very proud to say that I can speak Japanese and Korean.
Thank you for choosing this school. You made a great decision.
May the next journey you will take, lead you to happiness. Believe in what you can do and show to the world the best that you can be.

I smiled. This is heartwarming. He's doing good.
I sent the revised speech to him.
Then a message tone appeared.

I closed the tab on my phone.
I went to bed after I had my half bath.
I slept immediately.
I feel I am always tired. Every time my back touched the bed, I feel I was listening to a lullaby. I easily doze off.

Time went so fast. I never had a dream. My sleep is really peaceful.  I couldn't hear my parents arrived after their visit in my grandmother hometown.
My aunt from New York came this afternoon. I had to pick her up in the airport and drove to my grandma's house.
The bright rays of the sun went through to my window. I slowly got up and rubbed my eyes. This is another day to work harder.
My phone beeped and I checked the mail.

Good morning,I'm sorry my meeting with my client was moved tomorrow. I'm afraid I couldn't do the speech. It may take some time to finish the meeting.

Good morning,I believe you can do it. Please don't make me worried and upset. Will you?

I don't want bit the meeting was changed. Is it possible I can make a voice over?

No. You can't. We'll remain it as is.

You are giving me a hard time. I can't leave my company hanging just to have that speech. Well,whatever you want.

I didn't send reply anymore. I went to work. Jonah came to my office the moment she saw me.
I arranged the things on my table.
"Harry may can't do the speech tomorrow."
"He told me that one. But I know he can."
"I think he can't. His meeting might take long so he's not sure if he could come."
"Well,if that's the case,you have to read his speech for him."
"Okay. Well,I'm fine to do that. How about you?"
"Well,we can't let the ceremony be postponed because of him. "
"Okay. I guess I have to send him a message."
I started to work. We are both busy preparing for the ceremony. 
Lee made the design for the hall.
