No One Comes Close To You

Chapter XIX

Third POV

I was observing them. They were very silent and not even looking at each other. Are they okay?
I had known my son. He's a little energetic and lively before.
But now, he's changed. He doesn't talk much and even shared his thoughts to me.
Mr. Suzuki and I were doing this for them. He said that in the Philippines, Finn is working terribly hard. Her overtime exceeds to the time limit for a year. She's more silent than before too. He thought that something happened to her when she was still here in Prague. He also told me about their relationship ---fake relationship to be exact. But they don't look a pretend couple. They act naturally. So he thought that something happened to her related to that incident.
Similarly, Harry acted strangely here. He worked whenever he wants. He usually went out with Amy and their friends. I don't like their group. I feel they can be a bad influence to them. He always got drunk every night.
We both think that if we would let them stay together,they could patch things up. They might understand their feelings. So he asked her to come to Prague to help the company. It's not literally worst situation. But we saw that the profit dropped for 5% so we want to get it high again.
We told them the company is getting worst if Harry won't work hard again and Finn should work with him or else Mr. Suzuki will withdraw his shares in her company.
What a very good idea! Here they go!being blind and mute on the table.
I remembered my wife, Harry's mother Elena,she is also hard headed woman but she is so sweet. That's why when she died due this cancer I never find another woman. My heart is intended for her. No one comes close to his mother. His mother is only one in this world. I can't find her anywhere.
But I don't think they think about themselves. They are not getting any younger as if they were young. Why can't they recognize that what they feel is Love already.? Crazy CEO.
"Are you done Finn?" I said. She nodded her head.
"Oh where are you going? Harry?"
"I'm done."
I put my spoon and fork. I got my table napkin and talked to them.
"Do you have any problem?"
"No--no,dad! We are fine." Finn said. Harry nodded.
Tsk,when they make a lie so obvious. Fine! You both suffer!
"Wash the dishes! " Harry said to her. She pouted her lips but nodded her head. She tidied the table. I left them both. But my ears remained in the kitchen.
"Wash it properly!" Harry said.
My Harry got my temper. I usually bully Elena when we are young.
"Go out. I don't need your presence here!" Finn said. Are that fighting?
"Duh,as if you needed my presence. Fine,this place has ghost so he would watch over you. He needs your presence."
"Hey,Gray!!" She shouted. She was almost on the verge of crying. I laughed at them. Harry is really annoying.
"Sometimes the lights turns on and off automatically. I didn't do it of course. " he said.
"One more! And I'll never wash the dishes. Do it yourself."
"Fine," he said.
"Harry! Don't tease her. You are like teenagers. You are both old do that." I told them in a loud voice.
I couldn't hear them bickering. I stood up and went to them. I saw Harry sitting on the chair while drinking his tea. Finn is washing the dishes. I hope they could finally see each other soon.
I went to my room and take a rest.
"It's up to them if they would give me a grandchild now,then I would be very happy with that."
I said.
"Maybe they have beautiful offsprings in the future. They are both good looking. Maybe more terrible than them. "
"But I'd like it. "
I closed my eyes and sleep.

The next day,I saw Harry ready for the office.
"Good morning dad."
"Why are you so early?"
"I went home early yesterday so I need to compete my work. I'll have my breakfast in the office."
"Okay. Take care. Are you happy today?"
"Maybe."
"Why?"
"Nothing special."
"Harry,do you still love her?"
"Who?Amy?I didn't love her from the very start. Why did you ask dad?"
"No,Finn!"
"I did but she hurt me."
"Can you forgive her?"
"Hmm,I can."
"How?"
"If she bring me my breakfast today voluntarily."
"Tsk. I'm not sure if she thinks of that."
"Yeah she's insensitive woman. Doesn't care other people."
"Fine. Do your best and work hard."
It's 4 in the morning. It's still very early but he went to the officer now. My son is doing good.
I went back to bed and at 7, I went down.  I saw Finn eating her breakfast.
"Are you going to the office Finn?"
"Yeah dad. "
"What's this?"
"Gray's breakfast. I think he left already. His car is not anymore in the garage."
"How did you know he doesn't have breakfast?"
"Well just a guess. I can eat this at lunch if he's finished." She said. My heart is about to cry and become excited. She never heard our conversation right? If she didn't, she must be concerned of my son!
" I'm going dad."
"Okay."
She left carrying the lunch box in the paper bag.
I'm very excited to know the reaction of my son. It would be priceless.
"Oh Elena your kid is having a love affair already. He's big right now. He has someone that attitudes  exactly similar like yours."

I've been waiting for Harry to call me and tell me about the meal.
At ten the phone rang.
"Hello!"
"Dad!"
"Why?"
"Why did you let her carry my food for breakfast? Tsk! That woman got angry why I left early that made her carry my food in the office. And to the worst,she stayed with me until I finished them all. Because she said you told her to do that so that I will really eat."
I really want to laugh out loud and tell the truth but I don't want to ruin the plan of Finn.
"I'm sorry."
"Tsk,I won't tell you anymore."
"No,you should do that if you don't want to die early."
"But dad,"
"Just go with the flow. Enjoy the moment okay!!"
"I can't."
"You should court her."
"No! She's horrible."
"So does it mean no to the CEO position?"
"Dad!"
"It's up to you. If you are happy to do that,then do it."
"But dad,"
"Harry,love comes only ones. You can't find the same love. It is only one remember that. Only one. No one comes close to someone you love. You meet a lot of people but you will always find and stick to her come what may!"
"I love her but does she love me too?"
"Try!"
"No."
"I didn't take care of you just to be silent in the corner Harry. What is in your heart, you should speak out."
"Maybe not now."
"Next year again? Get marry now,Harry,I want grandkids."
"Dad. Bye now. You're getting strange."
"Kids are fun."
"I don't know."
"Try it!"
"Bye dad!"
"You must thank her okay?"
"Okay."
"Bye."
"Bye"
