Chapter XIII

Finn's POV

"Good morning." I said. I woke up very early. It's my fourth day in Prague. I went down to have breakfast. Harry is eating at the dining room. He focused on his food. Nobody is in there.
"Where are they?"
"They left early. Jonah went to Alec's family and Lee has to meet with her husband."
"Okay. What happened? Why are you serious?"
"Nothing."
"Okay. " I got my coffee and drink it in front of him. He's ready to go to work.
"Are you angry at me for coming home drunk last night?" I said. I got annoyed with his silence.
"No. I'm fine. " he said.
"I don't like it. Don't worry it helped you. They will sign the contract today. Did they tell you?"
He looked at me with surprise look written on his face.
"What?"
"I guess that will pay off everything. I decided I'm going back to the Philippines tomorrow. I still have many things to do back there." I said.
"What?" His eyebrow became a thin line.
" which what? "
"What did you say? You'll go back to the Philippines?"
"Yeah. I did terrible things right from the start. Maybe this is not the right time."
"It's up to you. " he stood up and got his bag on the chair. He left me without saying any words. Is he angry?
"Hey,aren't you saying any good bye words to me?"
"For what?" He said. What is happening to him?
"Are you angry?"
"We still see each other in the afternoon."He opened his car. I remained standing by the door. He looked at me for once.
I waited for him to go but he just entered the car and started the engine. Suddenly he came out. I thought he would talk to me again but he passed by me and got inside. He went to my room.
"Did you forget something?" I asked him.
"Yeah."
He got the folder on my bedside table. I saw it right after I woke up but I didn't open it.
He left me there. I was confused why he's upset.
I got a call from Mrs. Suzuki. She's asking about me.
"Hello,Mrs. Suzuki?"
"How are you dear? We are worried about you last night."
"I'm sorry for making you worry,Anika-san. I was not a good drinker."
"We'll go back to Japan tomorrow. Please come visit Japan. Okay?"
"Sure."
"I will support my husband for making business with both Harry and you. "
"Thank you Anika-san for the trust."
We talked some other things and ended the call.
I lie down on the bed. I was thinking about Harry. I dialed his phone number.
Maybe he's still driving.
It started to ring.
"Hello?"
"I'm calling as your girlfriend, are you angry at me?" I said. He remained silent on the other line.
"Gray!"
"Yeah,I'm driving. "
"Why aren't you answering me?"
"I'm not angry at you"
"Then why are you acting like that?"
"Nothing."
"Gray! "
"What?"
"I'm your girlfriend right?"
"Fake girlfriend."
"Yeah,I know. Did something happen last night?"
"No "
"I'm drunk. I threw up a lot. Are you angry with that? I'm sorry okay? I won't do it anymore. I just want to do it here. "
"Okay."
"Can we eat lunch together?"
"No I'm busy "
"Gray,I want to eat lunch with you."
"I'm busy. We can't. "
"Let's break up."
"Okay."
"What??? Really? Are you fine with that?"
"Yeah. It's fake right? We just pretend to be in a relationship. "
"At least you pretend that you don't want to let me go." I said in a low voice. My heart began to feel heavy. I don't know why I feel that way.
"Bye now. I'm going in."
I didn't say anything but I ended the call. I wanted to cry to ease the pain.

My tears began to fall from my eyes. I cried for the first time because of someone and unfortunately it was just a fake. Is this what they call heartbreak pain?

I went to the bathroom to take a shower and resume crying there while the shower is hitting my head.

I was riding on a taxi now. His grandmother went to the mall with her helper. So I was all alone in their house. I decided to go out too.
"We're here in Healthy United Enterprises,Ma'am."the taxi driver said to me.
"How much?"
I gave him the amount that I need to pay for the ride. I went out from the car.
I got inside.
I approached the front desk officer.
"Excuse me,good morning,where's the office of Mr. Grayson Harry Montez?"
"Do you have appointment Ma'am?"
"I'm sorry I don't have.".
" I'm sorry Ma'am. Sir doesn't like to have visitors today."
"I'm his girlfriend. I need to talk to him. It's emergency. I am Finn Montenegro."
"Please wait for a moment ma'am."
The staff called him over the phone.
"Yes sir."
She looked at me.
"Yes,sir. Okay sir."
She put it back on the telephone cradle. She turned to me then.
"You may go Ma'am. Tenth floor. Office on the left of the corridor."
"Thanks."
I got in the elevator. I am excited to see his reaction.
Ding! Way to go!
I knocked the door three times. I saw the label.
CEO Grayson Harry Montez
I touched the label.
"Come in."
I opened it. I saw him working in his table.
"Hi!"
He raised his head.
"Why are you here?"
"I want to have lunch with you. "
"We broke up right?"
"I don't want to do it." I said. He put his pen on the documents. He looked at me.
"What do you want? I don't like to do it anymore. "
"No. If I said so, you can go against me."
"Well I can now."
"Gray,until I'm here please? "
"No. I can't."
"Fine,just give me one day with you. I want to do something with you."
"What?"
"I want to go on Cruise in Voltva River with you."
"What? I'm a busy man,Finn. You can't just ask me my time. I used my precious time in business."
"I want to take a picture with local people here and buy souvenirs for my family. Can you do it for me? Just for one day?"
"When?"
"Tomorrow. "
"I thought you'll go back home."
"No,I changed my mind. After tomorrow, I won't give you troubles anymore."
"Okay. Now can I work?"
"You're terrible."
I sat down on the sofa in front of him. He's very busy doing his stuff.
The time went so fast. It's past 1 in the afternoon. I waited for him to ask me to have lunch with him but he's not. He keeps on drinking tea.
I leaned my head on the headrest.
"I'm hungry."
He looked at me.
"Do you have plan to eat?"
Then someone knocked on the door.
"Sir here's your lunch."
His staff came in and put the tray in front of me. It was steak,pasta and iced tea.
"Thanks Amy." The woman left.
He gave him his cutest smile to her. Why is he like that?
"Dig in." He said.
"Why are you smiling at her?"
"Did I ?"
"You did. Did you sleep with your staff here?"
"What? Just eat Finn,don't get jealous."
"Jealous! If I'm your real girlfriend, I would hit you in your head so that you can realize that I'm here when you gave her your cute smile."
He stared at me.
"Eat now. You are talking nonsense."
"No."
"I thought you're hungry?"
"Aren't you?"
"I'll eat later."
"With her? "
"What?"
"Eat with me now."
"Finn,don't be childish."
"I'm not. Eat with me so that you won't eat later."
"No."
I looked at him intently then I cried again.
"I hate you."
"Why are you crying?"
He stood up and sat beside me.
"Why don't you eat with me?" He sat next to me and hugged me.
He laughed at me.
"You're a good actress. I almost fall for your acting. "
I'm not,idiot. Can you see I cried in front of you?
