No One Comes Close To You

Chapter XX

Finn's POV

"Your father told me I have to watch you or else he will scold me. Tsk,I'm not your nanny!" I said. He was working early this morning.
"I'll eat. "
"Now."
I opened the blinds and see the bright sun from the outside.
"Why did you leave early?"
"I want to finish my work so that I can go out today."
"Fine."
He's now eating the  food. I made that personally. I don't know why I love to make breakfast for him.
"My father is a great cook."
I smiled secretly.
"Yeah."I answered.
"Did you eat your breakfast too?"
"I had tea." I said. I was cleaning my table.
"What? "
"I don't usually eat in the morning. "
He tidied up the table and kept the food box.
"Thanks."
I nodded my head.
"I'm going to have a meeting with the marketing and production department. Let me know if you go out "
"Why?"
"Whatever you think! Of course I should know. We work together."
"Okay. "
I went out from the room. This man is really horrible.
We started the meeting. They presented their ongoing project plan. The company exported natural teas and milks.
The demand of teas nowadays dropped to two percent while the milk with our brand three percent. It was not quite severe but if we are just just playing chill with it,it may dropped deeply.
We derived some possible solutions and I think they come up a very good one.
"Do you love working in this company ?" I asked them after our meeting.
"Yeah,Ma'am."
"Then,when you do something with a heart,you exactly reached the end."
"That's right."
We finished the meeting and I went back to the office. I saw him talking on his phone. He might call Amy. That woman has really planned to get him since before.
"I'm going to the site "
"Site what?"
"Where we manufacture our teas."
"Where is it?"
"A little countryside. "
"Can I come with you?"
"Stay here. You might be tired."
"Do you go there alone?"
"Some staff."
"Is she going too?"
"Who she?"
"Never mind "
Oh,Finn!you just said it. Now he is thinking something else now.
"Ahh,Amy?" His face is bright. He must love her than me. I was hurt again.
"Never mind. You go now " I said. I left the room to get the files in Finance department.
When I came back ,I saw him sitting on his chair. I don't want to talk to him. I continued working my tasks.
"You're still terrible when you are jealous " he said.
"I'm not."
"You are."
"I'm not."
"Let's go."
"I don't want to go. I changed my mind."
"Come with me. I changed my mind too."
"Gray! I said I don't want to "
He held my hand and we went to the elevator. He's still holding my hands. For the second time, he hold my hand again firmly.
I couldn't bring my phone.
We went to the parking area.
He opened the door for me.
Then he sat on the other side.
"It will take thirty minutes."
I put the seatbelt on.
Then he drove off. I enjoyed the scenery. There are tall trees. It's autumn so the color of the leaves were changing to red. It's warm. He opened the convertible cover. I looked up at the trees.
"Wow!refreshing." I said.
We reached to a little valley. From afar,we can see the plants that we used for our tea production.
He went out and so do I. We are walking for five minutes going up. I was wearing three inches heel. I'm getting tired and sweaty.
He turned to me.
"We're almost there. My father owns this land from my grandparents. "
"It's wide."
"Yeah. "
"We're still very far,aren't we?"
"A little. "
"Gray,my feet are getting painful." I said slowly.
"When we reached there,there is a little convenience store. We can buy slippers for you."
"I don't have money "
"I have money. Don't worry. I'm thirsty too."
"You're crazy,why didn't you tell me that this will gonna happen."
"I'm afraid you change your mind and not coming to me." He said. He pushed my back.
"I'm tired."
"Me too. But when we reached there,it's worth fighting for."
"Really?"
"Yeah,beautiful place."
"Okay. Let's take a rest first."
"No,go on."
"I'm tired."
"Ten more steps " he said. I stopped from walking. He stood at my back.
"I'm tired. "
"But you wanted to come with me." He said. I turned to him. I almost tripped and luckily he got me. I was almost hugging him.
"Oh,I missed this." He said slowly. He instantly hugged me. My tears almost  came out from my eyes. I missed him too.
"I'm sorry." I said.
He looked at my eyes.
"You have beautiful eyes. I always look for these eyes. Your voice that is soothing my heart. And your warmth body that I am comfortable to hug. All of you I really missed for these past few days. " he said while crying. I can't help but to cry too.
"Let's go." I said.
I walked away.
He remained there. He's still crying.
"Crying,but he has Amy!" I said.
I continued walking until I reached the endpoint. The beautiful,greenish,fresh nature captured my eyes. I smiled. I'd love to watch this all my life.
He walked past me.
"Finn,I'm tired of this feeling. Can we talk after I checked the farm?" He said seriously.
"No need,I don't want to listen to you. I am not naive,Gray.  You have someone else. You can't live with two people in your heart. Stop it. As much as you want, we can't. I give up already long before I came here "
"Wow,you gave up already, not knowing the real story?"
"It's real. Your grandma told about it. It was painful. I learned to love you before." I told him. There! I said it! Good job! Finn!
He remained silent. His eyes were full of tears.
"You never told me your feelings before then. For God sake,Gray! I want to be with you too. I realized that when I came here. I can't predict you. I don't want to assume,Gray. All the sweet words and your actions made me feel what love is." I said. He wiped his face with his hands. I gave him my handkerchief. He got it and pulled me for a hug.
"I loved you too. I was scared and  coward."
" Really?."
" I did,I do,and I will. I never stop loving you. I was miserable so I forgot the company. I always think of you. I tried to go out with Amy and her friends,maybe I could forget you but the moment I did that,I got frustrated because I always remember you. I never forget you. I tried to look at Amy but I can see your face in her. I can't see anyone because my heart only see you. No one comes close to you. No one did the same way as you did to me. No one loves me the way you love me.  I love the way you put your arms in me. I love the way you leaned on me if you got sick. I love the way you get angry to me."
He said it while crying. His shoulder is shaking.
"I never come here to hear this from you,let's get started to our business here." I told him. He chuckled and wiped his face with his hands.
"You can cry!" I said.
"What do you think of me? A robot? I never cried before. I keep my frustrations ,heartaches deep inside me."
"It's not good."
"Do you remember when you broke up with me on the bed? That was the most beautiful morning I ever had in my life but you ruined it."
I laughed.
"I love you,Finn" he said.
"I love you too."
"I thought I could never do this. I'm happy now. I'll work hard again. "
"Then you are going to annoy me again?"
"Did I ?"
"Yeah,you did. "
"I love annoying you. I love you hon." He said. He hugged me.
"Should I answer that one?"
"You should. Will you marry me?"
"What?"
"Will you marry me?"
"I will honey!"
"Yeyyyyy!!!! " he carried me up on the air.
I hugged him tightly. The nature is celebrating us. The rain drops on us. My clothes got wet easily.
"Oh,tsk,this rain is annoying too." I laughed to what he said. He kissed me.
