No One Comes Close To You

Chapter IX

I wasn't able to go home since she was admitted due to the result of the test. Too much stress and work made her sick. Her two friends went home to get food for us.
I opened the blinds on her left.
She's still sleeping.
I crossed my arms on my chest and watched her intently. Her fever went down already. She moved and opened her eyes.
"Hey,it's bright!" She slowly got up. I smiled. 
"You're fine now." It's 6 in the morning. I have meeting at ten.
"Yeah,I know. Where am I ?"
"You're in the hospital. This afternoon you can go home. So while you're here,be kind to people who are going to take care of you." I said. Her eyebrow creased.
"I want to go home now."
" No,finish the IV drops then you can go."
"Where are they?"
"They went home. But they will come here to stay with  you."
"Okay."
She lie down again.
I got my jacket.
"I may go now. Listen okay?"
I said.
"Will you come back?"
"Yeah,this afternoon." She nodded her head. I opened the door and take a final glance at her. Her body is facing the wall.
"Finn!"
"Why? Go now!"
I smiled and closed the door. I saw her two friends.
"Is she awake?"
"Yeah,she's awake. Take care of her."
They smiled meaningfully to me.
"I'm going home. I have meeting at ten."
"Okay,we'll take care of her for you."
I chuckled and left.

I went home and immediately prepared myself for the meeting. They are from Japan. This time I can speak Japanese to them. What I've learned in Three Stars will be used again.
I wore my best suit.
I went to the meeting place. My father is already in there. He was the one to make a reservation in the restaurant.
I arrived early. Japanese businessmen were always early.
Before I got in,I received a text message from her friends.
"She doesn't like to eat instead she's watching TV."
I smiled at the message. She's being stubborn again. I called them.
"Hey,"
"Oh,Harry,she's here. She's watching this Korean drama since you left and until now."
"It's okay. Let her do that."
"What? Are you fine with this?"
I laughed. "Yeah,being stubborn is the sign that she's fine now."
"You're terrible. "
"I'm going. Let her eat of course."
"Fine,I'm sorry,you're busy."
"No problem. Bye."
"Bye."
I feel happy when I got in. My father stood when he saw me.
"They are not yet here." He said.
"I'm a little hungry,dad."
"Did you have breakfast?"
"No,I just went home to change clothes."
"How is she? Your grandmother really likes her. I remember she's your teacher three years ago right? The one you really like to annoy before?"
"Until now. She's still irritating."
"I like her too for you."
"Dad!"
"You don't like her,do you? But why were you worried last night?"
"Dad!"
"Fine,we will just wait for you to realize."
"Realize what?"
"Nothing. Are you ready? They are here."
They are Mr. Suzuki and his wife and Mr. Kobayashi.
Mr. Suzuki is the investor of Three Star Language School.
"Nice to see you again,Mr. Suzuki. This is my father,Mr. Edmund Montez."
"Konichiwa."
"By the way,this is my wife, Anika  Suzuki."
The woman is around thirty- five years old. She has slender body and a fashionable style. She's wearing a long skirt. Her hair is styled in a bun.
"How long will you stay in Prague?" I asked as we started our smalltalk.
"We'll stay here about two weeks. But Mr. Kobayashi will go back to Japan after tomorrow."
We talked business for about two hours. They will decide before they go back to Japan if they are going to make business with us. Then after we eat lunch together.
"We'll go back to our hotel later this afternoon. Do you know someone who can be a good guide to go around this city,Mr. Montez?" Mrs. Suzuki asked me.
"Oh,I'm sorry,but I have free time tomorrow, I can be a good guide." I was thinking Finn to come with me. Maybe they can be a good team.
"Oh really? Thank you so much,Mr. Montez. We would love that."
After we had our lunch,I went to the office. I checked my messages.
One of the messages is from Jonah. She's telling me about Finn.
She's eating right now. I told her that you get angry if she won't eat. You helped her a lot so she needs to eat for you.

I smiled again.
I called them.
"Hello"
"Oh,Harry. You called up? She's sleeping now. She ate right after I told her."
"You can go back home this evening right?"
"Yeah. "
"How is she?"
"She's fine. She doesn't feel dizzy anymore."
"Oh good."
"But she said she wanted to go around tomorrow. "
"She can."
"But we can't come with her. Alec invited me to visit his family while Lee will pick her husband up in the airport."
"Don't worry,I'll be with her."
"Really? Are you sure with that?"
"Yeah."
"Harry ,thank you so much.  You made her happy."
"But she gave me headache."
She laughed at my words. I smiled.
"Wait for me, I'm going to pick you up there after here. "
"Okay. Sure. "
"Bye."
I continued working and finished all the paper works I have for tomorrow. Then at 7 in the evening, I pucked them up. Finn is already awake. She never bothered to thank me for what I did to her. She acted high and mighty again.
"Let's go." She said. She brought her bag with clothes in it.
"I'll bring that one." I said.
"No need. I'm fine." She answered.
I went to the cashier to pay her bills. But she already paid it.
" She's really fine."
I went to the car. She seated at the back seat. I started the engine.
"Finn,I can't go with you tomorrow. Alec asked me to come with him to visit his family."
"Me too. My husband will be coming over. I'll pick him up in the airport."
"I'll stay home." She said.
I silently drive the car going to the mansion.

When we arrived, my grandmother immediately talked to her.
She was all smiles.
"Let's have dinner. My helper already prepared the food. Harry,get changed and come over to the kitchen."
"I don't have the appetite, granny.  Don't worry I had in the office."
Finn went to my room too.
"Don't you like to eat?" She said.
"I'm fine. Thanks." I said. I lie down to the bed. The sheet was already replaced with new one.
"Are you okay?" She said. She looked at me.
"I'm fine."
"Okay."
As if you'll take care of me,cold woman.
She got my pajama set and gave it to me.
"Change. Then take a rest."
"Are you now concerned of me?"
"I have to repay your kindness."
"No need."
I got up and went out. I entered my father's room to take a rest.
