No One Comes Close To You

Chapter VI

Finn's POV

I put my bag on the table. I just got home from the office. We have to finish everything before we start the new quarter. We received some online registration. Lee is doing well on that. Jonah prepared the questionnaires for the entrance exam. The number of our students is prettily increasing.
Next week we'll fly to Prague. I don't know where we will stay but I'm sure we would be in the hotel. We have quite amount for traveling. So,money is not that a problem.
My parents wanted me to go for vacation since I worked hard these following months. I even stay almost every night in Three Stars.
I am a terrible worker.
I got my planner.  I made my bucket list already for Prague getaway.
I took a nap after I changed my clothes.
We are riding on a cable car. Jonah and Lee were laughing as the car went off. I looked around. The city is really beautiful.
I really want to go to Charles Bridge. Then after a couple of minute,we arrived to the place I wanted to see.
I almost run when I got off from the car. I could see the bridge. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Then I saw Grayson on the edge of the bridge. He was standing there and was looking very far.
Then I shouted. He just jumped to the water. Without thinking I jumped too. I wanted to save him. But I realized I don't know to swim. The river is really deep. That's why there are yachts passing in this river. I was drown to the depth of the river. I saw him swimming towards me. Then I closed my eyes.
Right after,I feel the air on my chest subside. I coughed and water came out from my mouth. I saw his worried eyes.
"Why did you jump when you don't know how to swim? Are you crazy?"
"I'm sorry. I saw you. I wanted to save you."
I got up. He put his jacket to me.
"Why do you want to save me?"
"I'm sorry for what I did before. I'm not thinking back then."
He looked at me.
"I jumped because it was part of my bucket list. I want to try new things here in Prague. Jumping on Charles Bridge is one of those new things."
"Are you crazy?"
"You're crazier than me. You jumped though you can't swim. You might be in love with me. "

I got up.
"Oh,it was just a dream. I never jump with him again." I said as I got a glass of water in the kitchen.
I got my planner and read my bucket list.

Things to do in Prague:
1. Walk around Charles bridge
2. Watch city lights with Jonah and Lee
3. Drink four or more glasses of beer( their famous beer)
4. Take a picture with local people
5. Go on dates with random man and sleep with him (just sleeping)
6. Buy souvenirs for friends and family
7. Take a cruise trip in Vltva River
8. Ask someone to be a fake boyfriend and go around the city together

I smiled. This is crazy really. I should keep this one before everyone might see this and embarrassed me for making this stupid bucket list. I keep it again.
I looked at the list. My eyes focused on number 5. It was terrible.

I prepared my luggage and my passport.
I brought ten pairs of clothes. We will stay there for two weeks only. Winter is coming to that country so it might be cold. I brought jackets and sweater.
My phone rang.
"Hello Lee."
"I already bought the ticket. We are ready to go."
"Okay."
"Please prepare your things."
"Okay."
"And don't forget to bring your passport."
"Of course."

She ended the call without telling me where we would stay. I continued preparing the luggage. I only bring one suitcase. It's easy for me to walk around.
The flight will be after tomorrow. I'm a little excited.
I remembered Grayson. He might be very upset about what happened in the parking lot. He went off without saying any goodbye to me.
"Should I ask for apology?" I asked myself.
It's been a week already after that incident. I hope our paths won't cross in Prague. I don't want this vacation will be ruin because of him. I can see it in his eyes that he's mad.
"What should I do if I could see him again?"
I lie down on the bed.
"I'm sorry. I should have not done that." I practiced.
"I was happy when you helped me. My mind wasn't working properly when I saw your body. "
I hit my mouth for saying that.
He took of his shirt in front of me that time. I was nervous and I don't know what to say.
He has toned muscle. His abs were not showy not like other men. He has white complexion. Probably, because of the weather in Prague. I just realized that time that he's handsome and a good man.
This is my first time to be interested to men. So am I deserving to get married this year?
I want to get married too but I feel no one can do it to me. So I put it on my bucket list. I want to try going on dates. I'm 30 years old. I'm old enough to settle down.
Should I sleep with him? Maybe just ask to give me a child in return for his forgiveness? Tsk..it's not good. I'm still a woman with dignity.
I got tired of thinking of ways to reconcile him but all things were horrible in my mind.
"Yahhhh!! I hate you too! Hate me then. I don't care. " I said to my mind. He's upset then be it.
I lie down on the bed again. Then sleep maybe something will come to my mind later on how to make good terms with him.

The next day,I still think about how to reconcile with him. I even searched it in google but aside from having a serious talk suggestions,a person can also give flowers to the other person.
I called Jonah. She answered it immediately.
"Hello,Finn?"
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing. Alec went back already with Harry last week so I'm all alone."
"Ahh..okay."
"Why  did you call?"
"Nothing. I'm bored."
"Let's meet. Eat lunch together."
"Sure."
"Why don't we meet at the usual restaurant at eleven?"
"Alright."
I left after I had a quick shower. My parents were on their Christmas vacation in my father's hometown. I was alone in the house.
Five minutes before eleven,I arrived in the restaurant. I waited for them. I was scanning my phone when they arrived.
"Let's order now. I'm hungry." Lee said.
"Sure."
We bought chicken and steak. This restaurant is famous for their chicken. We both love chicken.
"Jonah,I have a problem."
"What?you can't come with us?"
"No,not that. About Grayson."
"What?"
"I made a terrible mistake. "
" what happened? "
"Tsk. I was really bad at him. I don't have any face to look at him. I hope we won't see each other in there."
Jonah and Lee were looking at each other.
"What happened?"
"My tire was flat during the party. He fixed it but I gave him money as payment."
"Oh my gosh! Good friend! You're horrible."
"I know. "
"Why did you do that? He can accept thank you from you."
"I know but I was out of my mind that time."
"Tsk. He must be very angry right now."
"I know that too. If I could bring back the time,I will never do that!"
"He doesn't like it. I'm sure of it. When I was in Prague, he didn't like that I will pay the food. He said I'm a visitor so they have to pay with Alec."
"What should I do?"
"I don't know. Maybe say sorry politely."
"Then,?"
"Then let's see if he accepts."
"If not?"
"You have to court him."
"Oh no."
"You know what,Finn,he never think that we are his teachers. We are his friends. Maybe like sisters. "
"We are not in good terms from the very start."
"Then you add insult to injury."
"Jonah what should I do?"
They laughed on my situation.
"My husband is free that time so he can come with us in Prague." Lee said.
"I'm sure,I'll be walking around in Prague alone."
"Maybe you can do your reconciliation plan with Harry that time."
I rolled my eyes on them.
"I can't do it. Looking at his stern face.,I can do many terrible things."
"I don't know why?except students and him,you can do horrible things but if other people or to us,you are very kind." Jonah said.
I am thinking about him. We went to the mall after eating lunch. We watched movie before going home.
