Tony was laying on the bed, trying to come up with a plan. He needs to go back to the town and find that witch. During the carriage ride, he somehow managed to memorize all the twists and turns in the road they took. So he'd be good to go if he could just get Steve to arrange a carriage for him. In the middle of his thoughts he heard the lock on his door being unlocked, then the doors opened and Steve walked in.

He just silently stood across the room and looked at Tony. Almost as if he was expecting something. To which, he was. "I'm the king. You should not be laying in such an inelegant state in my presence" Steve pointed out, amused.

Tony scoffed. "Oh my god, I can't wait to bully Cap about all of this when I get back" he laughed to himself in disbelief.

"Get back? You're not leaving. I've chosen you, you will reside here from now on and you will not do anything untoward" Steve told him.

"HAH, you've 'chosen me'?" Tony chuckled. "There is a time very, very far in the future where you would've reached a different conclusion" Tony crossed his arms.

"Pardon?" Steve frowned.

"Never mind, forget I said anything" Tony waved it off.

Steve stood there confused for a moment. "Come here, I want to show you something" He held out his hand.

Tony eyes him for a moment, suspicions and question marks wandering about in his mind. Nonetheless, he got up and walked right past Steve and ignored his offer to hold hands. Steve laughed to himself, wondering just how long Tony was going to be stubborn.

The two walked through halls and past a load of rooms, Tony taking in the view of the castle and memorizing the halls at the same time. Juuust in case he needs to run away for whatever reason. A few minutes later, they ended up in a room. It was much bigger than the one Tony was locked in just now.

"Where is this?" Tony asked.

"This is my room," Steve answered. "And this.....is you" He walked to the painting on an easel across the room and removed the cover, revealing the painting of Tony Mr. Hubble had done of him at the tavern without him knowing.

"First of all, I'd like to point out how weird it is on your part that you have this in your possession. And second of all, this is phenomenal. I want it, I'm gonna gift it to Rhodey when I get back. How much is it?" Tony answered in all seriousness.

There was a moment of awkward silence as Tony looked at Steve not knowing why he wasn't saying anything, and Steve looking at Tony surprised by how oblivious he is.

"Tony, it's not for sale, I...I have it because I like it. Because I like you" Steve clarified.

Tony snorted at that. "You, like me? Yeah right. As if I'd believe that- as if anyone would believe that" he crossed his arms.

"You are doubting me?" Steve raised a brow.

"Ok this conversation is going nowhere. I need to speak with you on a different topic" Tony stated.

Steve nodded and stepped closer to him, indicating that he was listening. Tony asked Steve to help him find a place to temporarily stay in back at the town so that he could catch the witch at the tavern if she ever went there.

"Absolutely not." Steve answered.

"Why not?" Tony furrowed his brows.

"You're mine, you can't stay anywhere else but this castle. This is your new home" Steve explained as if it was only natural. As if it was a law or something.

"Okay, this is getting silly. I am not yours, neither will I ever want to be yours. Alright? If you don't wanna help me find a house that's fine, I'll just find one myself. Could you just give me a map of the directions to go back to the town?" Tony was getting frustrated.
