"Tony, did. he. hurt. you."

"Yeah! You did!" Tony blurted in frustration.

"What?" Steve was confused.

Tony groaned. He told Steve about how he was a king in the 1800's and he wouldn't let Tony go even after running away so much, so Tony told him the truth that he wasn't from the 1800's. Which didn't make 1800's Steve budge on his decision not to let Tony go, so Tony slept with him to try and seduce him into helping him leave.

"But in the end even after all the fucking, you didn't want me to leave so I had to ask 1800's Stephen for help. And he did exactly that" Tony finished.

"Oh..." Steve nodded. The selfish part of Steve was glad and relieved Tony did those things with him and not somebody else. "I mean...maybe if you didn't tell me you weren't from there, I probably would've helped you leave" he suggested.

"You may have gotten used to lying, Rogers, but it doesn't sit well with me. And plus I didn't want to kiss you or jump into bed with you anymore" Tony snarked.

Steve looked down and fiddled with his fingers. And then he reached out and tugged on the edge of Tony's shirt. "I'm sorry, Tony...I really am" he pouted. Again with the kicked puppy look.

"Crap! Too cute!" Tony thought, immediately looking away. He must not be swayed.

And just to his luck, Friday announced "Boss, your lunch date started 1 hour ago, do you still wish to be late?"

"No! I'm ready! I'll go!" Tony immediately stepped away from Steve. "See? I have a-a business meeting to go to. Bye" he ran off.

A half hour later and Tony finally arrived at the restaurant. Ronan, Tony's friend from high school, was waiting outside for him. "You made it!" He smiled upon seeing Tony.

"Hey Tweety bird," Tony hugged him. Tony gave him that nickname since he was always shy and gentle in high school. Maybe the most shyest gentleman ever, but not exactly Tony's type. The few times Tony would be at school during lunch he'd see Roman eating his lunch and studying alone, so Tony would make him hang out with himself and Rhodey. That's where they became good friends. To this day they're still friends and business partners. "How are ya?" Tony asked.

"Not really good. The other business partner that's joining us?" Ronan started.

"Yeah" Tony nodded, prompting him to continue.

"Is my now ex fiancée, Jason's, new guy" Ronan finished.

"Oof. That's not fun" Tony said remorsefully, already feeling bad for Ronan. "Wait- you were engaged to him? How come you never told me?" Tony frowned confusedly. Sure, he hadn't talked to Ronan for a few months, but he didn't expect the man to get engaged.

Ronan laughed. "We got engaged about 7 or 8 months ago. In fact, we were about to get married last month, but he left me at the altar and went with his best friend. Hence the breakup" Ronan explained as they walked into the establishment.

"That's a dick move!" Tony furrowed his brows. This type of story hit a little too close to home for Tony. "So we're about to sit and eat with the best friend right now?"

"Even better, my ex is with him too" Ronan chuckled awkwardly.

"You know what, leave them to me. I'm not Tony Stark if I don't make these four walls he'll for them. No one abandons my Tweety bird and gets away with it" Tony nodded, fire in his eyes.

"Oh, no...please don't. I mean, they're happy, they're having a good time, I don't want anything unpleasant to happen" Ronan panicked a little. He remembers the types of things Tony would do in high school. That's why he was panicking.
