Tony waited all night at the tavern again, but the witch did not show up. But one of Steve's men did, so Tony snuck out of the tavern and went back to Mr. Hubble's place.

Now it was morning. And he was unusually hungry. He got up and looked around the place for Mr. Hubble. He was in the kitchen. "Tony! Goodmorning. How was your slumber?" Mr. Hubble smiled.

"Oh, I didn't sleep" Tony said.

Mr. Hubble's face fell. "Why not? Is the couch uncomfortable? Did you need an extra cover?" He asked concernedly.

"No, everything was fine. I just...I don't sleep, it's not something I do" Tony tried to explain.

"Oh, dear me, do you have an illness up there? Do you need me to bring you to the asylum?" Mr. Hubble frowned.

"Yeah, I've been putting that one off for god knows how long" Tony laughed. Mr. Hubble didn't though. "Thanks though, for the offer. But I don't have any time to waste, I need to be here at all times if the witch might stop by like you said"

"I hardly think getting the support you need and deserve is a waste of time though" Tony watched as the concern in Mr. Hubble's eyes grew.

And Tony would be lying if he said he didn't feel a bit uncomfortable by the show of care and worry. He's been uncomfortable with anything that has to do with emotions and caring for a long time. And whether he acknowledges it or not, it's been like a dark shadow that's latched onto his back.

"So what's for breakfast?" Tony quickly changed the topic.

"I didn't make it yet because I didn't know what you'd like" Mr. Hubble explained.

An idea popped into Tony's mind. "Do you by any chance have flour, baking powder, white sugar, milk, eggs, and butter?" Tony asked.

"Yes, I have them all," Mr. Hubble nodded and pulled all the ingredients out for Tony. "If you don't mind me asking, what are you going to make?" Mr. Hubble asked curiously.

"Pancakes," Tony answered. Mr. Hubble raised a brow. He'd never heard of that before. "I suck at cooking or anything that has to do with a stove or oven, but I learned how to make pancakes for Peter since he's been staying over quite often these days" An endearing smile grew on Tony's features.

In the next 15 minutes, the pancakes were ready. Tony anticipatedly watched Mr. Hubble take a bite. After chewing a bit, Mr. Hubble looked up, and it was as if fireworks were shooting in his eyes.

"You must tell me the recipe!" He quickly went and got a quill and paper for Tony to write on. After writing it down, Tony handed the paper back to Mr. Hubble and he stored it away. "I have to go out to retrieve some new paint. What are you going to do in my absence?" He asked.

"I think I'll ask around if anyone knows anything about the witch" Tony answered. Mr. Hubble opened his mouth to say something, but Tony quickly answered already knowing what he was about to say. "And don't worry, I will be wearing a disguise, Steve's men won't notice me"

Mr. Hubble hesitated first a moment, but nodded and then left. Tony put on his 'disguise' and left as well. Though a hoodie, a cap, and sunglasses might've not been the best choice. But it was what he knew and had so he just went with it.

In sight, Tony was talking to a lady that had her face covered with a scarf. Their conversation seemed pretty secretive judging by the way they were hunched up and standing close. "Alright, that's him right there. Go and get him. But he better come back without a scratch or the king will have all our heads" Sam whispered. The men nodded and snuck off to retrieve Tony.
