Of course, Tony ended up waking up two hours later. He woke up to the feeling of strong arms wrapped around him and light kisses being left on his temple. When he opened his eyes he saw he was in his room and somehow fell asleep sitting on Steve's lap, his head resting in the crook of Steve's shoulder?
Tony sat up straight and looked at Steve confusedly. Steve just had the most content of smiles on his face. "Hey," he smiled as he softly caressed Tony's cheek.
"Uh...I don't recall falling asleep?" Tony said in a daze.
"You fell asleep in the car" Steve told him.
"You..." Tony all but growled. He remembered Steve doing the exact same thing before as well, back when they were together. "Screw you and your late night antics. I'm going" Tony shifted off Steve's lap and left the room, going down to the workshop and locking himself there.
He also decided to ignore and avoid Steve for the next few days. He was lucky if Steve wasn't waiting around the corner for him when he left the workshop or came home. And at this point, Natasha was sick of being stuck between them. So she did, in fact, grab Tony and Steve and pulled them to a side.
"Alright. This has gone too far" She started. She took a breath. "I made an appointment for you guys at a couples painting class. You leave in half an hour"
"You know, generally when you plan something for two people, you usually have to talk to them about it first and see if they'd like it" Tony told her.
"Would you have said yes if I told you beforehand?" Natasha raised a brow.
"Of course not" Tony shrugged. "Plus, I already have a boyfriend; as you saw in that paper that day. And he's definitely not a super soldier who goes by the name Steve Rogers"
Steve frowned, he hated remembering that Tony was in a relationship. Even though he wasn't actually in one. Natasha knew this too since Tony told her immediately. He didn't tell Steve though, hoping to use it as some sort of defence mechanism to make him keep distance.
"Alright, then you can call him and invite him over for dinner tomorrow. But today, you two are going to couples painting class" Natasha said, ushering Steve and Tony to the elevators for them to leave.
The best part was how Natasha forgot to tell them it was an Elderly couples painting class, seeing as once Steve and Tony arrived there it was full of senior citizens. They found a spot by the window and sat down.
"Alright, welcome everybody! I'm Daisy Pepman, I'll be your mentor for the day. I see lots of lovely couples everywhere. We also have a famous couple here today, Mr. Stark and Captain Rogers" The mentor spoke in a peppy tone and pointed to Steve and Tony.
Steve smiled kindly whereas Tony's smile was awkward. "Prepare yourself to get your cheeks pinched" Tony muttered under his breath.
"Let's get started, shall we?"

So far, they were walked through steps for painting the background full of flowers and bees. And the last step was to paint something that reminded you of the person next to you. So Tony attempted to draw a middle finger.
"That's not proportionally correct" Steve commented just to tease Tony and piss him off.
"Yes it is, I can draw a middle finger with my eyes closed. I've been doing it since high school" Tony said.
"Nah, it looks pretty bad to me" Steve shrugged.
"You bastard, get off your high horse. If I can't do this I might as well be a dog" Tony retorted.
