"Ava?" Kai smiles, heading towards me, "what are you doing here?"

Rhys pulls me back a little, "what were you doing?"

Kai pauses, "huh?" He stares confused then looks down at our joined hands before tensing up a little.

I'm so stupid.

I let go of Rhys's hand and run towards Kai, crashing into him, "I'm sorry," I whisper, holding onto him tightly.

"Is everything okay?" He asks, wrapping his arms around me, I nod and pull away after a few moments.

"You should get that cleaned up," I point to the coffee spill on his blue shirt.

The other lady in the room, who I remember as the assistant interrupts us, "once again I'm very sorry sir, I'll leave you guys alone," after an apologist smile she turns around and leaves.

"Ava?" Rhys calls out, shutting the door behind him, "are we sure?" He asks,

I trust Kai, I always have and even if just for a moment there was doubt, the moment I saw Kai again I knew, I could always trust him, he'd never do anything to hurt me. It was just a misunderstanding.

I nod, "I'm sure,"

Kai looks between the two of us before sighing, "I have no idea what the two of you are doing, but I'll be right back," he walks away into what probably is the toilet.

"They're just rumours and misunderstandings, Kai would never do something like that, it's just not him," I confirm.

Rhys shrugs and heads for the couch, "I know, he loves you to much to do that, I was just bored,"

No...

I gasp, "Rhys! You can't just do that! Mess with other people's relationships, clearly being single is making you crazy,"

He shrugs again and lays down on the couch, "I already have a ton of people and I figured this could also be an excuse for you to gather some courage and visit Kai,"

I facepalm, "Rhys, I see him at home,"

He shakes his head, "but hardly, anyways I'm gonna nap now and could you please tell him to tell Aiden to not fire us,"

I huff and turn around, "I will not," I walk towards the black chair behind the desk, not before stopping to look at the view, no wonder Kai never wants to go home, the views beautiful. Kai's cheating on me with the view.

Just as I turn around, Kai enters the room heading straight towards me, "What are you doing?" He asks, I notice him just slightly move something on his desk, facing it down, but before I could get a good look, Kai stands in front of me.

I quickly snap out it and look up at Kai, "Me? Oh, yeah, I was just admiring the view and this really comfy chair, move," I push him out the way slightly and sit down, I should get myself one of these.

"Oh it spins aswell!" I gasp and start spinning, "Rhys?! Look-" I stop and stare at Rhys, how is he even...?

"Is he sleeping?" Kai asks, pointing at Rhys

I look down and sigh, "I think he is...RHYS!"

Rhys jumps up, "I SWEAR I'M WORKING!" He scans the room and sighs, while mumbling, "I can't believe I just had a nightmare about Aiden,"

Kai leans down to whisper in my ear, "Aiden?"

I nod, "you know he's a lot scarier than you think... Actually never mind, you were kinda scary at first and you did hire him..." I gasp in realisation, "does that mean to melt Aiden ice heart I must-"
