I cuddled closer to Kai, completely covering my face in his bare chest, hoping to block out the sound of the hotel phone ringing. Why?!!! It's 7am!

Kai starts shovelling, slowly waking up but before he could completely get up I wrap my hands around his waist tightly. No, my comfort and warmth!

"Ava?" Kai questions, his voice even more throaty than usual, God, his morning voice... Kai continues, "Ava? The phone,"

"That's not the phone, you're dreaming," I reply, hiding my face, closing my eyes, "go back to sleep warm and comfortable human,"

Kai chuckles in his deep voice, once again GOD! I feel him stretch his hand out to reach for the phone on the side table while dragging me with him, "hello?" He answers, after a pause he continues, "now? Okay give us half-"

Before Kai could continue I groan in protest, causing him to change his statement, "tell them to be back in 2 hours and to wait down in the hall," with that Kai puts the phone down, wrapping his arms around me.

"Please don't tell me it's who I think it is," I groan, it's way to early for this.

I hear Kai sigh, "I'm afraid it is," we stay close to each other for 5 more minutes before Kai moves to get up, I don't bother following him, only pulling the covers all the way up to my face.

I manage to get a few more minutes of sleep while Kai finishes washing up, "Ava?" I hear him call, the fresh scent of soap filling up the room.

"I'm up," I respond, voice muffled by the cover, sighing loudly I drag myself out of behind, slowly coming out from the covers until I fall on the floor.

Kai walks over, bending down to take my hand, "up you get," he pulls us both up, " you go in the shower, while I get breakfast," leaning against him I nod. That sounds great.

Kai leads me all the way to the bathroom and then just leaves me there he abandons me, while he goes of into the world to scavenge for food.

Finally I was fully awake, clean and sat on the chair, enjoying my very English breakfast,

Kai looks up from his food, "The guy at the front desk mention they'd be back 12:00," of course.

I nod, "then we should escape this place at 11:00," Smiling Kai shakes his head at me and I continue, "wait, technically he stalked us or had someone find out where we were staying also, what's left to be said," I just want to be done with this and go home.

Kai nods and responds after pushing his empty plate away from him, "Maybe some legal matters or they wish to come to an agreement, we'll only find out when we meet them,"

Maybe they'll apologise.

Okay, they definitely did not come here to apologise.

"Ava, how could you just leave us like this, did you not think about the consequences and the effect this would have on us?" David shakes his head in disappointment, they came here to manipulate me.
