Almost 30 Chapters Special!

I'm currently working on ch. 30 rn but I recently wrote a really short vkook story..

Soooo here it is!

I guess...

"Hello?" I called. "Anyone here?" All I saw were clouds under my feet for miles and the blue sky around me. I totally lost civilization and my sense of direction. "Hello?!" I kept trudging on. My bare feet started to hurt.

Suddenly, I started to see something. It looked weird, like the light was missing. "Hello?" I tried again.

When I got closer, I noticed there was a whole other... world. I didn't enter it, of course. It was like all the light was missing. Like an invisible line cut off the light. The ground wasn't cloudy, but instead hard and black.

And there was a person standing right at the edge in the... darkness, was the word? I kept walking until we were opposite of each other.

"Wow." I whispered, wide-eyed like him, admiring his features. I felt something I never felt before. My heart was pounding and my stomach felt funny. "Who are you?" He didn't answer. "I-I'm Jungkook."

"Taehyung." A breeze blew through his blond hair.

"Wow..." I whispered again.

We stared at each other in awe for a few seconds. I never saw anything like him, and he was so handsome. I reached out to touch him, and so did he. Our fingertips were about to touch, and I felt a buzz between us.

We touched. We both recoiled. We both looked at our hands, our fingers hot and buzzing.

I looked up at him again. "What are you?" I asked in awe.

He smiled. "I'm the epitome of death."

His words didn't frighten me. "I'm the epitome of life." I took a step closer. "You look funny."

He licked his lips. "So do you."

I blushed. "Do you feel what I'm feeling?" He didn't answer. "Is your heart pounding? Do you feel butterflies in your stomach?"

He blushed and took a step closer. "Yes."

"Do you feel like you're in love?"

Both our cheeks were burning. "Yes." He answered. "Yes."

I looked at all of his features, his pretty clothing, his pretty face. "We just met, but I'm already in love."

He looked down at his hand and slowly reached out. So did I. Our fingers interlocked, and the shock only lasted for a second. The pain slowly faded.

He pulled me closer. I smiled. It felt cold, not being in the light. Time seemed to stop and nothing else seemed to matter. He wrapped his cold arms around me and our lips touched.

So yeah, I based it off of the word epitome (eh-PIH-tə-mee, not EH-pih-tohm), which basically means personification. So like, Jungkook is the epitome of life. 

I literally have a whole AU set up, but I wanted to just leave you guys this short story, shrouded in mystery. Have any questions about the AU or story? Just ask :)
