Chapter 16

Kate's P.O.V

Her house was so pretty and inside was too. Now she has us sitting down to explain what this place is and who these people are.

"Okay so first off this place is called Zeon, and clearly its nothing like what you 3 have back from wherever you came from," Rainstorm giggles. "Anyway everyone here is friendly and its beautiful here as well if you explore the rest of it. I'm part of a group here that protects Zeon, along with other aliens here who have that symbol on the door or a badge. Now that sums up Zeon and the people here. What about you? Where did you come from?" Rainstorm smiles.

She seems to have a really preppy attitude.

"Well, we come from this place called Earth and yes, it is completely different from this Zeon. We came here from a magic glowing door," at that Rainstorm's eyes widen and then she quickly shakes her head. "and then it just disappeared," I finish.

"I see," Rainstorm nods. "Well I'm going to get us some snacks."

"How are we going to get back?" Lucy asks once Rainstorm had left the room.

I shrug. "We will figure it out."

Rainstorm comes back with a plate full of crackers with cheese and three water bottles and sits back down.

Ryan and I both reach for the same one my hand on his. Not a second later I swat his arm away.

"Hey!" He playfully glares.

"Get another one," I stick out my tongue.

"You get another one."

"I already have one idiot."

"Takes one to know one," he smirks.

I lightly punch his arm and laugh as he smiles.

Rainstorm just stares at the two of us.

"They always fight like this," Lucy sighs.

"I see."

We eat the crackers pretty quickly and Rainstorm gets up and takes the plate.

I get up and follow.

"Do you need help with anything?" I ask her.

"No thank you," she says her back to me.

I walk up to her and look around her white and purple kitchen.

"Your house is beautiful."

"Thank you," she says.

After a minute of scrubbing the plate she speaks. "So you and Ryan, are you two a couple?"

I almost choke on air.

"No! We are just best friends," I laugh.

She puts the plate in what seems to be the dish washer and then faces me. "Are you sure?" She raises an eyebrow.

"Of course."

"Then you wont mind me asking him out do you?" She eyes me, making sure I'm not lying.

"Go for it," I say.

"Okay, just making sure," she smiles and we head back to my friends.

"Do you think he likes me?" Rainstorm stops me before we go into the living room, her face full of worry.

"Maybe. You never know until you try," I give her a reassuring smile and she grins.

"Finally you two are back, you were gone for like an hour!" Ryan complains.

I roll my eyes but Rainstorm just giggles.

"So, Ryan, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go out?" Rainstorm twirls the tip of her hair acting all shy.

"Uh, sure," Ryan says and Rainstorm beams.

"Great! I know a great place! Come on," she jumps up and takes Ryan's hand.

"Right now?" He asks.

"Yeah!" She giggles.

"Okay well I will see you two later then?" Ryan asks as Rainstorm pulls him out of the house.

"Have fun on your date!" I call after him.

"What about going home?" Lucy asks.

"Later. I think its cute that she likes him and I think he likes her too. Going out on a date, adorable."

"True," Lucy agrees.

"Plus we can explore this cool planet," I beam my eyes full of adventure.

"Yeah!" Lucy smiles.

We leave Rainstorm's house and go wherever we feel we should.
