Kate's P.O.V
This has been one amazing winter break. The best, that will beat the winter breaks before and the future ones too. When we are about to leave I look behind me and see Lord Sky poke his head through the door.
"Don't forget to use your powers for good, but you already know that."
"We know," I smile.
"Good. Have a wonderful time with your powers," he smiles back.
"We will."
Then he closes the door. When we look back the door is gone.
"Did time pass while we were in there?" Lucy asks as we make our way to our hotel room.
"I don't know, let me check."
When we get inside I check the date.
"It didn't. It's still the same day."
"Maybe we should head home now. We can practice our powers there," Ryan suggests.
"Will we tell our parents?" Lucy asks.
"I don't think we should, at least not right now."
"Agreed," Ryan nods.
"Yeah," Lucy says.
We all pack our stiff and so many things are going through my mind at once. We call our parents and tell them we are coming home. We don't say anything as we check out and head into the car. Once we are on the road I took Lucy's hand and Ryan's hand in my own.
"I'm glad you guys are my best friends. I wouldn't trade you for the world," I say.
"We love you too," Lucy smiles.
"Yeah, we wouldn't trade you for the world either, except maybe I would for tacos or any of my favorite foods."
I laugh and playfully punch his arm. Then we all laugh. I really am glad to have Lucy and Ryan as best friends, and that we get to have amazing powers together.
I definitely won't forget this winter break.
"Me either," Lucy chirps.
"Lucy!" I laugh.
"Sorry, not sorry," she giggles.
I smile.
