Chapter 25

Kate's P.O.V

I open my eyes and see Lord Sky, Rode, Miles, and everyone else looking in awe.

"That was the strongest vibe I have ever seen in my whole life, and I have lived for more than a thousand years," Lord Sky says.

"What happened?" I ask.

He clears his throat. "There was a ring of gold that surrounded you three, and it was supposed to glow over you like a dome. It glowed the brightest I have ever seen."

We all look at each other and smile.

I love them so much.

"I love you too," Lucy says smiling.

"I didn't say that out loud," I slowly say.

"Y-you didn't?" Lucy asks.

I shake my head.

"Woah," Ryan breaths.

"Let me try that again," Lucy says excitedly.

This is so awesome.

"Yeah it is awesome," Lucy smiles.

"Omg Lucy that's amazing!" I squeal and hug my best friend.

"I know!"

Then she stops for a moment and holds out her hands. I'm about to ask why when fire shoots out of them.

"Wow!" Ryan and I say at the same time.

"Fire comes out of my hands?!" Lucy squeals like she is getting the present she always wanted on her birthday or Christmas.

"Ryan can you pick up my stick over there?" Lord Sky asks pointing toward the entrance of the cave.

"Its to far away though," Ryan whines.

I nudge him. "Ryan! You are talking to the Lord Sky."

"Maybe I can move it with my mind," he laughs.

He looks at the stick and concentrates on it. It slowly lifts off the ground and he tries harder. The stick flys toward us making us jump back scared. The stick falls.

"Um," Ryan trails off.

"That's okay," Lord Sky says picking up his stick.

"Okay so I have the power to read minds, Ryan has telekinesis, what do you have?" Lucy asks.

I think for a second. What do I have? It could be anything. I have a feeling I should turn into something. Maybe, a lamp.

"Kate your a lamp!" Lucy says.

"Your a shape shifter!" Ryan states.

Then someone reaches over and turns on the light. I giggle, it tickles.

"I just turned you on," Ryan smirks.

"Ha-ha, so funny," I roll my eyes and turn back.

I see Lord Sky smiling at us. "I'm glad you enjoy your powers."

"Do we get to keep them?" Lucy asks excitement in her voice.

"Yes."

"Do we have to live here? Or can we go back to earth?" Ryan asks.

"You may go back to where you came from but you will always be welcomed here."

"Thank you," I say and hug him.

We walk up to Rode and Miles.

"So I guess your leaving huh?" Rode asks upset.

"Yeah, but don't worry, we will visit," I reassure her.

She smiles and hugs us. I turn to Miles.

"I wish you could stay," Miles frowns. "I was just getting to know you."

I smile. "I'll come back."

He smiles and we hug.

"Ahem," Ryan clears his throat and I let go.

Miles kisses me on the cheek. "Until next time."

I smile. "Until next time."

Lucy, Ryan, and I all hold hands and think about the glowing door. Then open our eyes and it appears. We wave one more time before
stepping through the door and back into our world.

Except something will be different. We will come back, with powers.
