Kate's P.O.V

We searched through the shops in town and now on our way to the park.

"We missed her again!" Miles says slamming his fist against a tree.

"What do you mean again? You know where she is?" I ask.

"Yes, we can tell where she was by her dust."

"Her dust?" Lucy asks eyes wide.

Rode nods. "Yes, she leaves light red dust, like the color she is."

"But she's purple," Lucy says confused.

"We know that, but her actual color is red."

"Then why is she purple?"

"Thats her cover up. You'll know it when you see it but right now we have to go to her lair."

"Lair?"

"Yes, now come on hurry before its too late!" Rode says already running in another direction.

We run quickly and soon beneath our feet no longer was a cream colored or yellow road, it turned dark and it was falling apart.

"I can't..." Lucy says stopping.

"What's wrong?" Rode asks.

"She has asthma," I say.

Rode walks up to her. "I can carry you."

"That will be to hard," Lucy breaths.

"It will be fine come on," Rode says and Lucy gets on her back and we are off again.

We keep running, and running, and running. I want to ask where we're going but I'm already short in breath. Finally when I feel like I can't run anymore Rode and Miles stop and we are in the middle of no where, it looks like the world on mars.

"Right here," Miles says not even out of breath.

"Where?" I ask.

"Here," Rode motions with her head also not even out of breath.

How could they do that?

"I don't see anything," Lucy says.

Rode puts her down and her and Miles walk forward a little and move their there hands back and forth four times and twirl their hands twice. Then something began to take shape out of nowhere. A dark grey sphere with an opening that is to dark to see.

We walk toward it and I could see its made out of metal. The opening is still to dark so I can't see anything.

Before I can ask how we will get through, Rode bends down and grabs a stick from her backpack and flicks it on the ground so swiftly. Then fire appears and she blows a little on it to calm it down. Then we walk in.

It doesn't take long that something is in our way, a metal wall. Miles walks up to it, sucks in a breath, and punches the wall. It leaves a hole but not big enough for us to fit through. Then he pulls pieces off and throws them on the ground. One lands by my feet and I try to pick it up, no use.

We continue on and we end up running into another wall.

"Maybe we can try something else," Rode says knowing how hard it was for her brother to rip the first wall open.

Miles walks toward one end of the wall and flips open a switch. He pushes a couple of buttons and it opens.

"We need to hurry, your friend is in danger," Rode says.

We run quickly and encounter a few more walls, each one taking a few minutes longer.

"I think this is the last one," Miles sighs.

He goes to the wall and takes a deep breath and exhales. His fingers barely touching; gliding over each one, thinking. He quickly types in something, it opens, and then an alarm goes off.

"Run!" Rode practically shouts.

Rode and Miles dash toward Lucy and I. Lucy jumps on Rode's back and I jump on Miles's back and we run.

"Not so fast."
