Everyone was worried, they knew that the only way Tai was able not only to fight, but to even stand up by himself, was that he allowed himself to be controlled by his rage, since the adrenaline of the moment was able to surpass his sickness and give him strength.
Tai glanced at the others, his vision still covered in red, however he could feel some presences around him and despite the rage that was clouding his mind, he knew they were his family and that they would never hurt him.
With that reassurance, the king drew a deep breath and let his feelings calm down.
He let his katana fall down and opened his eyes, feeling his sickness crawl back to him.
He glanced at everyone and after making sure they were are alright, his eyes closed again and he felt himself falling.
Safiya quickly stepped forward and caught her brother before he made contact with the ground.
They all had a lot of questions they wanted to respond but for now they needed to rest.
They were able to walk some more until night arrived and they had to stablish a camp and sent down.
Although Tai's loss of control saved Safiya's life, when the effects died down, his health got worse because of the physical activity.
Everyone had two questions on their minds:
The first one was that they all wondered how was Tai able to manage his rage so that he only attacked the ones he saw as a threat, but maybe he just had some control over his feelings so he didn't go completely berserk.
The real question was why Bomei decided to flee, sure he was on the border of being slashed in half, but he didn't hesitate to flee when he had the chance.
But the thing that intrigued them the most was that in his eyes they saw not only fear but also he seemed to be... reflecting.
Even if it was just for a moment, they all were able to see a sparkle of doubt within him, something no one expected.
In the end, those questions could wait, they had to focus on arriving at Mizu.
