It had been a year since Tai and Safiya were crowned as king and queen of Genzo, despite the initial hardships and the consequences that war brought, the kingdom was regaining the status it once had.
Their government had brought an alliance with Yami, which was now ruled by Haki, the friendship between them brought wonders to his kingdom, in the shape of both resources and now, a real union.
Tai was walking through the corridors of his palace, looking for his sister and for Yami's king, who came to visit them for a week.
Their government was going very well, the most important issues, like resources, structure damages and violence were mostly solved now, meaning they could concentrate in other projects.
Tai arrived at the room he and Safiya shared and when he glanced at their desk something caught his eye.
Over the desk there were some letters, these seemed to be from Haki but there was also one that was clearly Safiya's.
Curiosity took over him so he grabbed one that belonged to Haki, like he suspected, it was directed towards his twin but he almost entered in shock when he realized...
It was a love letter.
He knew Haki and Safiya had become really close during the war, and even after it they interacted a lot, but apparently their friendship blossomed into love.
And he had no idea... great.
He read the letter some more and was actually quite amused by the love phrases Haki wrote, they were just so cliché, things about how Tai's sister was his life, his light, how it had to be destiny and how he wished they would be together forever.
Yeah... he was definitely in love.
But what about Safiya?
He took the letter she wrote and after reading it he couldn't help but burst into laughter at the things it said.
Her phrases were even more cliché than Haki's, something that seemed impossible, but the situation was so funny when you realize who wrote them.
The idea of Safiya, his sassy, rebel and independent sister, writing phrases which showed how in love she was and that made her seem like she was in a typical romance story was just so hilarious.
"What's so funny Tai?" Takevu, Hiroshi and Haru entered the room, following the king's laugh.
"Look at this" He showed the letter while trying to control his laughter.
But it was useless when his siblings also started cackling, they also couldn't believe that their sister, the queen of Genzo and the leader of the military troops, was so in love.
However, they were happy for her and they knew they could trust in Haki to make her happy and keep her safe, not like she needed much protection anyway.
After a while they all calmed down.
"Who would have thought?" Takevu said "The least possible to fall in love is now the one with a partner"
Hiroshi continued "I bet that Haki asked her in front of a sunset with flowers and music"
"And I'm sure Safiya cried" Haru concluded.
"What I'm really wondering is when was she going to tell us" Tai smirked.
"I mean, she has no reason to hide it, it's not like we would chase Haki away"
"Maybe she was getting comfortable enough to tell us" Takevu replied.
They stayed for a moment in silence until Hiroshi said.
"And if we see what they're doing?"
